| Castle "Kamen" |
Yesterday Miha and I went for a trip to visit a castle Kamen (English = Rock Castle) in Begunje. Begunje are small town at the North of the country, about 45 minutes drive from Ljubljana.
We arrived there in wonderful sunny morning - some parts of the castle and town were snowy, but coz' of sun lots of snow has gone.
The castle is huge and without a doubt was much bigger when it was built back in 12th century.
There's no fee or guided visit...all visitors are responsible for themselves. We were actually the only one there - one older couple came when we were already leaving.
It's really nice to see and to read about the castle.
We had nice hour and half there exploring all around :) Some parts were a bit scary though.
Later we went on to Lesce which are 5 minutes drive from Begunje. We stopped there at the airport, though not much was going on. We stayed there for 15 minutes and went on to Bled. We went for a walk around the lake and feed the ducks :)
It was surprisingly not much people there...
When it started to get darker and darker, we've decided to go towards Ljubljana. We stopped at grave of my grandparetns and than went home.
Actually we went to centre of Ljubljana, walked around again and than stopped at Mexican restraurant Joe Penas for lunch/dinner. :) We haven't eaten there for ages, so was really nice to be back there. The food is not really cheap, but it's very good; for here and there its good, but not aforadble to eat there often.
It was nice.
We than went back to my place where we watched some Friends and than I went to bed and Miha went home.
Today my paretns went for a trip (to mountains) and I stayed at home. It's still a bit foggy now and we have -1 C!
I had brakfast and watched some more Friends :)
Now, after I'm going to finish my blog I will go out running and than will soon start working on lunch.
The afternoon will be relaxing - for the last time, coz' than tomorrow I'll start studying and it won't stop till 21st December when my last exam in 2006 is going to be.
I have few more mails and a letter to write and the day will pass quickly and before I'll knew it, I'll have to go to work.
Miha is going flying today, but not he...he'll be passenger this time. I think in the evening at 8pm we're going to watch The Bridget Jones Diary :)

I really enjoyed reading about your Sunday adventures and seeing the picture. Sounds like you had a wonderful day.
Mexican food is appreciated everywhere. Here people like also to buy necessary ingredients and have some day in a week "Mexican lunch" day. Good idea... Though wallet wouldn´t appreciate too many visits to the restaurant, that´s for sure :-)
Did you watch Bridget Jones Diary in the evening?
It was nice to read your latest news, I´ll try to write an e-mail soon also.

GREAT that things are working again. Missed your comments here!
I am back to work, very tired...went to my friend yesterday who did some work on my computer and it all took much longer than planned :s We went there at 6.30pm and came home few minutes before 1am!!! The computer is OK now, though need to install some more programs - I didn't want to stay any longer there + I know how to do that on my own. :)
Coz of late stay at friends, I didn't wacth the film :s
Perhaps will rent a DVD or something, though I've seen the movie before, but I like it and it's worth seeing it again.
I'm not feeling too well today..have some work left from Friday when I was out of the office and have to catch up today...the wife of my boss didn't really do much here while I was gone :s
After work will go shopping for Xmas presents for Miha and than home, will eat something, took a warm bath and than will probably go to bed as quick as possible :)
I also wish you to have nice days to come and I'll be looking forward to hear from you soon again.

"Mexican food is appreciated everywhere" I am glad to read that .. and well I am pretty sure that you would like the food when you came in December!!!
Great pictures from the castle it's nice to know your country by your pictures.
Work is still very demanding I really really need to finish this @#! program I am tired of being working on it.

I ordered Casada de Pavo (I hope it's all correct written). I guess the food in Mexico will be much different than here, coz' here it's very little spicy or nothing at all..you know..we Europeans have different tummies :P
But I'm sure I'm going to like the food in Mexico...when my friend was here she made Tinga and Mole for us + we made tortilias and we loved it. We also tried to make Flan, but didn't end very well...so I know some dishes already :)
I have some other news about December for you Jorge, but all about that in mail.
My work was a little stressful lately as well, coz' my boss is freaking out lots :s I'm happy he'll be out of the office tomorrow and will finally have a chance to do the work I have to do, coz' lately I'm more working on things he doesn't want or doesn't know how to do...and I hate it, coz' even when he doesn't know a thing, he never listens to me and always tells me how to do...and than coz' it's wrong, it's as always all my fault! Grrr....
Now he went out (we had crazy time in the morning already!) and I'll make myself some tea, relax a little and read newspaper or reply on mails....before he's back again :(
