Flight

Hello there!

It's sunny Sunday afternoon, just had lunch and now it's time to update my blog :)

Yesterday I spent all day at the airport - from 11am to 7pm and it was GREAT!!!
Miha first flu on the computer there as a practice before the flight, while I was reading a magazine :) I wasn't bored at all and time flu quickly :)

During the time we waited for his instructor to come, some of friends (pilots) came as well and had short chats with them :) It was nice to see them, esp. as I don't have as many chances to see them as Miha has. It's nice that each time they are happy to see me :)

Before the flight we also went for a lunch to restaurant at the aiport.
At 3pm it was time to go.
Miha first had a flight plan to Trieste, Italy, but he than didn't get a premission to fly there, coz' there was too much traffic and he wouldn't be allowed to do NDB approaches :s
So, he had to change the plan quickly and he decided to go to Maribor (second biggest city in Slovenia; you can visit this link to see more about it; http://www.slovenia.info/?_ctg_kraji=2627)

The flight was 1 hour and 37 minutes and I enjoyed every single minute up there; well, as I always do :) Flying with him is great and seeing my country from the air is amazing as well. This was my first time flying to Maribor and was very interested :) The sky was beautiful as well - lots of clouds, mountain peaks from clouds and many layers of different colours :) With on word WONDERFUL!!!

After the landing Miha had to do de-briefing with his instructor and than he can go home.
We first though to meet a friend for a play of pool or just for a drink, but she already had some other plans, so we went home.

In the evening we watched film "Little men" and than went to rest :)
It was really nice day!!!

Today...well, today it's time to rest and to do things I had no time for during the week :)
I wrote some mails and a letter, did the laundry, washed the dishes, cooked lunch and now, after I'll update my blog will go out and for a long walk. The weather is simply amazing - sunny and 18 C!!! Real indian summer :) I love it and since I'll have to go back to work tomorrow, I'll try to spend as much time outdoors as possible :)

Coming week will be again very busy at work, but happily, I'll be working only till Thursday :) On Friday Miha and I are already leaving to spa for the weekend :D

Hi! You seem to have had a great day... What an amazing chance to go to flying like this... You get always marvellous photos up there. I´m glad you have such wonderful moments that turn into perfect memories... Hope you´ll have many of those lovely days to come...
