From Pula we went to Rovinj.

It's about 25 km from Pula and it's a bit nicer, more lively city where were many turists.

3 weeks ago Miha and I went for 4 days to the seaside to relax a little from every day.

One day we also decided to take a day trip to Croatia and so we visited PULA and ROVINJ.

Here are some photos first from PULA.

Pula is a historical city, though besides that kind of "dead" city. Not much was going on that day!

Maybe it's more lively during the summer, though my friend has house there and she said it's not much better than over the winter...
I think we should visit Pula one more time during the summer and will see.

Days I have lately.

I can't pull myself together. :(

I am:
- sad,
- lonely,
- dissapointed,
- over worked,
- streesed from work and
- lazy coz' of fucked up weather!

This week is the week when I really lost all the desire to live. :( I mean, not killing myself, but it's so hard to get though this kind of weeks and even when I'm trying to cheer myself up, things go even worse than already are! :(

Sadly sad and non-willing-kind-of-weeks are usually hell long too :( and it seems like the week won't and won't end. :( This week was like that for me.
I had LOTS of work, but I have the feeling like I was working 10 days, instead of 5 :(

Yesterday another dissapointment hit me, so things got even worse and my mood as well. Nothing can be done, I just need to wait for better days to come.

But that I won't only say negative things, I can tell about my weekend plans - haha, won't be much to write, since I will mostly study.
I have exam coming on 17th April and sadly, due my bad mood I haven't done much of the studying and now I have some cathing up to make. In first place I will try to get some sleep as well, coz' this week I have every day very late nights and very early mornings, so was all the time tired as well....

For the new week to come I have only one thing ahead me and that's Thursday AFTER my exam!!!! That's the moment I am, besides my boyfriend to come home, something I am the most looking forward to!

I have some lovely plans for next weekend, but those will be revealed some other time.

There's a saying we have: "After every rainy days, the sun comes out!" I really hope so!

...I will never understand them!

I think I wrote about this topic a while ago, but it's so "fascinating" to me that I will write about it again!
WHY they promise something and than they DO NOT stick to it??? WHY??? What do guys benefit from doing this? Don't we, ladies, deserve to get the thing they promised?? I really can't explain why they keep doing this.

They only hurt us - well, only the girls who care about things that were promised! And sadly I am one of those! :( And so, am hurt!

My beloved boyfriend promised me one thing and now it's been more than two hours and he still didn't do what he promised.
Sadly he's been far away and reaching him over the phone is like Indiana Jones mission, so I don't really know where is he and when he's about to call or send any kind of sign of life! Maybe some readers of my blog, for what I think, there are not many, will think I am being silly since I am mad about him and a bit worried, but when someone is far, someone you love, it's kind of hard to stay calm.
I am not saying that many things can happen, but on he other hand all is possible.

I hate that phone and other ways of 21st century connections are working so bad and it's more like winning the lottery if you want to reach him :(
I mean, calling is not that hard, but than the connections are almost every time very, very bad, many times it's ringing but when he picks up the connecting goes who knows who and almost every time I have the luck to get him, I get the felling that he's somewhere in cave....line is very very bad.

I am often sad that my bofriend has a job that keeps me and him apart for a long time.
Many friends have told me that by now I could get used to the situation, but I am telling the that it's easier to say than do.

I mean, than I have friends on the other hand who have boyfriends and are complaining when they don't see them for a day!!! Hello?? I have to be without him for 14 days, than he comes home for 5 days and goes again for 14 days!!!
When I say like that I miss him, they all say that he'll soon be back. Why friends are not more friendly with their statements??

I mean, yes, he will come back, but that doesn't mean I don't miss him.
And like it's not bad enough for me, he is also making all those things harder and harder by not doing things he promise!

Snow

Today, after a bad night sleep, I woke up at 6am, look though the window and saw....SNOW!!!

Though it's still winter time, I was a bit surprised to see snow outside! And it was still snowing!

The weather forecast hasn't mention any snow and now suddently it's snowing?!?

The forecast is now, however not good for coming days. Tomorrow will be dry (if we can believe) and than from Thursday to Sunday will be rain with snow, snow or just rain...I think they can't decided yet :P

I am not really happy that the weather will be so shity, coz' I won't be able to go anywhere for longer walk or up on the hill with my friend as we planned...but than on the other hand, the weather will be OK to rest and relax indoors. :)

I first need to get though the week and sadly it's only Tuesday :(

This week is going NO where again! :( I hate that!

Exam

I'm nervous and have headache :(

Today from 6pm to 7pm I have exam - subject Controlling! Not really the easiest exam that's ever going to be :s

And not many people passed it last time, so am nervous.

I was studying a lot, but during all those days I had really mixed feelings. :s

The material of the subject is very different! One exercises seems simple to me and than the next one which is similar to previous one is a real hard puzzle :( So, at the end of studying period all exercises seemed very logical and very unlogical at the same time!

I don't know how this will end, but soon will see....I guess LUCK has lots to do with this exam too...it all depends what kind of types of exercises he's going to give - hopefully not to complex one and hopefully not complicated.

But what kind of exercises will be and the fact of very mixed feelings, those are not the only problem!

I could say that maybe the biggest problem is TIME limitation :( We have 7 exercises with 2 or 3 sup-excercises and 5 more quiestion...for ALL that ONLY ONE hour!!!

I usually need 15 minutes for one shorter exercise...now, do the Math! For that we would need (at least) 105 minutes or a little more than hour and half!!!

In our school system was ONCE (upon a time) a practice and a must that exams are that long that professor could solve it in 15 minutes! I DOUBT very much that our professor is capable of solving 7-exercises-test in 15 minutes!!!! If he does and that is correct that he's a supermen!!!!

But as I said, I'm pretty sure he can't do it.

So, last time, a month ago 40 students took a test and guess how many passed the exam?? TWO!!! Can you imagine?? TWO passed exam!! What's the point?? Can anyone tell me???

Oh, and I forgot to mention that 4 full exercises are needed to pass the exam!!! In 1 hour I would do 3-4 and who knows if will be correct?!?

So...WHAT are the chances that I will PASS this exam THIS TIME???

I have hope and I know I have studied and did well though the exercises...but will this be enough??

I am a bit scared and nervous! And like that's not enough, I have headache too!

This is my 190th post. A lot? I don't think so...well, could be less, but could be more too. However, that's reality.

So...this is my second post since long time and it's kind of hard to start. I don't know where, actually.
But let's say that my first months of this year were busy and stressful. And nowadays is NO different :(

I have exam tomorrow (Controlling) and I have very mixed feelings :( I was studying for exam for about 3 weeks with one or two days in between without studying...
Now, one day before exam, I have the feeling like I didn't study enough. :( I mean...I did lots of exercises and I did well, had a good feeling, even yesterday, but today have already mixed feelings :(
I will make some notes, though I am not sure I'll be brave enough to use it - meaning to cheat. I never did it, coz' I have ALWAYS the feeling that professor is looking at me :( and than I become all red in my face and of course, more noticeable :s
But I will do the notes anyway; I am in the second group and I am sure there will be plenty of us which means it's going to be crowdy and more chance to get from notes something on the test. At least I will have the notes for better feeling...
So, today, after work I will have longgg afternoon and even longer evening to do all those things :s
I can't wait things to be over...which will be tomorrow at 7pm :( I hate that we have exams that late, but what can I do about it :s
However, keep fingers crossed for me tomorrow from 6-7pm. And after exam I'll be really really happy person :) The happiest for a while :P before I won't need to study again. :s

But...my plans for next week...sadly Miha is leaving again on Friday early in the morning, so we will have only Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to enjoy with each other. :s
Today he is flying to Istanbul and it comes tomorrow...after my exam I had a wish to go to sauna, but will see what we'll really do.
On Wednesday we have lunch at our friends place and than on Thursday we will probably stay at home in the evening and watch a movie or something like that - nothing special though.

I have no special plans for the weekned too...I will only relax, write letters :), blog :) and watch TV; if the weather will be nice than will go for a walk or two, but otherwise won't do much...I really need some days to relax. From next week on I'll start studying again :( But soon I will have short holidays :)
Miha is coming home on 25th late in the night and than on 26th, after my work, we'll go to the seaside for 4 days :) Hurray!
I made a small plan where to go and what to see, but we're not sure if we'll do that. We wish to go to Genova aquarium which is the second largest in Europe, but to Genova is 500 km :s
I will see if there's a plane or train going to, coz' with a car its a bit long one...I mean, going there wouldn't be such a problem, but for going back might be a slight one, since we would probably be a bit tired from walking all day and than to know we have to drive another 5 hours back...not really nice picture :s
But we'll see. Still have some time to plan that...if we won't go, than we'll enjoy the time in the seaside, go for a walks and I'm sure we'll do some shopping in Trieste :) I need new shoes and new pants...for SPRING time :)

Anyway, this is all for this time; I wish to write a bit more, but work is calling...but no worries, I'll be back :P

New template, new start

I can't say that new year has just begin, coz' it's already March.

When new year started I didn't have much time to write, than lost a desire to write and now I am running out of time again.

Few of my friends told me to start writing again and of course I will...maybe today, the change of template will help me. I have again wish to write on my blog :)

So, I guess that's a good news for all my readers. I don't think there are many of them, but I won't let down the one who read it since the beginning :)

HAS began!

I am happy today! It's true I had to come to work, but am happy anyway...two good things will happen soon...today I my LAST day at work, so have a bit more than 6 hours to go and tomorrow finally Miha is coming home :D

Nothing is nicer than seeing my honey back in my arms :D This time that he was away was the longest and the hardest :(

I will enjoy this last hours at work and do the final work and than will enjoy my time at home :)

Today will spend the afternoon resting and not doing much. Than from tomorrow on I will have a bit busier days, but I am looking forward to met some friends, to spend time with family and relatives and to have some fun :)

My Christmas was nothing special. We all had to work on 24th. My mum was still feeling a bit weak, so we only had lunch/dinner, watched a little TV together and than was it.

We didn't exchanged any presents, since we did that before Miha left. Actually, there was something waiting for me under the tree from my dad, since my mum already bought us together a presents, but I left that one for 30th when we're going to have lunch together at our place :) Miha and I also bought a little something for my parents, so we all will have something to open :)

I got some really lovely presents from my pals and my cousins :)

Tomorrow I will be at home, but have plenty things to do. I have to go to supermarket for some food, than have to pick up my jacket at cleaning shop, will take our car for a wash :) and will clean it inside as well. I need to clean apartment as well, coz' we'll get some visitors in coming days, have to iron some clothes and than in the evening (the nicest thing) I'll go and pick up Miha at the airport :D

Our plans for coming days:

29th we'll shop in the morning, coz' there's something we need to buy for Miha's mum. Than will have lunch at their place and exchange presents :)

In the evening Miha's cousin with his girfriend will come to our place for a visit.

Afterwards I hope we'll have some time for ourselves, to rest, relax and talk....

On 30th we're having lunch at our place, with my parents. In the afternoon our friend Helen is coming and at 7pm Miha and I will go to theatre to see a comedy 5women.com

It's a celebration of our 4th anniversary that we had back on 14th Dec. but Miha was already in Libya back than.

On 31st is Miha's BD :D

We will have little of something at Miha's place with his family. My parents are going to Vienna that day for two days. We shall return back to my place in the afternoon and will soon start preparing for dinner. We have invited two friends of ours and I'm sure we're going to have lovely time. We will probably play Settlers for a while, had nice dinner and than we don't know. Either we'll go to the city or will stay at home...it will all depend on weather...though as weather forecast says, we're going to have snowy and white New Year as we had Christmas :)

That day we were also invited to my cousins place - he leaves next door and will have Mexican style party, so before our dinner we will visit him for one or two tequilas :P

Than after New Year's celebrating, on 1st we will visit my grandparents and as for the rest, I hope we will have quiet day :) Miha is than working on 2nd and 3rd and than if his plan won't be changed, we'll go to the seaside over the weekend on 4th :D That would be great as well...but I should not get excited too much in case we won't go....

And as for the end, I shall give a little sum of the year that's coming to an end. I can say that this year was travel-wise my best one! :)

I have travelled rather a lot this year which makes me very happy. :)

I started year 2007 in Bologna, Italy and during our stay there we visited Florence as well.

Than in March I visited Miha in Horley, UK, for 4 days - visited my fave place ever - London and Brighton :) Had amazing time there!

At the end of April/beginning of the May we went for 4 days to Hungary, Balaton Lake and spent a lovely day in Budapest as well. Met my lovely friend there and had another lovely short holidays :)

In the summer we took a one week holidays in Egypt where we enjoyed a LOT and had amazing times that have as always ended too quickly :s

The next travel was over my BD when Miha and I went for 4 days to Bratislava, Slovakia. We stopped one day in Vienna to visit museum and than spent the rest of the days in Bratislava. :)

And now my last travel was at the end of October when I went for one week to Libya. :)

During all these holidays, we went couple of times to Ankaran as well, went shopping in Trieste and simply enjoyed a lot.

I guess coming year won't be that travle-ing, but still I hope to have some nice holidays :) At least I'm sure that will go to Libya one more time, probably at the end of February or beginning of March!

Now...health-wise was lucky year as well. I haven't been ill all till few weeks ago when I had a bad cold...but otherwise was healthy :) Let's hope it will stay like this in 2008 as well.

Love life was PERFECT as well, so have nothing to complain here either...except that since August Miha is sadly a lot away, but what can I do about it??? Nothing...that's his job!

The only bad mark will be my studies! At this field not much has moved :( Yes, I did pass few exams, but nothing new about my thesis or having dean!

Well...maybe new year will be better at this field and I hope my studies will also be closed in coming year. I got some news and dates for my last exam, so let's hope all goes well.

And final conclusion...for me this year 2007 was GOOD, if not very good! Let's hope 2008 will be the same good or better.

And probably for my last post here in 2007 I'd like to wish you all to have GREAT New Year's Eve and let all the bad be forgotten and all good remembered!

Last days

There are few more days of this year before new one will start.

I honestly must tell you that today I'm being really unhappy coz' I am still sitting in the office with NO work and sadly my boss has no good attention to let me home earlier. I mean, I would understand if I would have any kind of work, but NO...I have no work at all!!

I had to come here at 8am, did some work that I left for today from Friday and since 11am I am BORED to death here! :(

My boss went somewhere now and his wife hasn't come as well...I am quite sure that he won't come at all, coz' kids have holidays and that's always a good excuse not to come to work. :s

I would really need to go to shopping center to buy some photo frames, but now if I'll have to stay here few more hours, it won't be anything from my plan! :( Which makes me even sadder.

I am pretty sure that NO ONE has more stupid and idiotic boss than I do!

But anyway, complaining here won't help me to go home earlier!

My last days were nothing special. I don't feel any special Christmas or any holiday spirit :( Actually I could say that this year's holidays are one of the saddest. :(

I have to work, as I never worked on 24th before (and I wokred in quite some companies), there is no snow and the most important thing...Miha is not around :(

There was a tiny little hope that my cousins would come today, but I spoke with my cousin in the morning and she said she probably won't come today, but will maybe tomorrow or than on Wednesday. :s

I could really use some company today....and if I'll be lucky, Miha will come on messenger in the evening. Fingers crossed!

I hope that my day will end much nicer than it started!

And hopefully you'll all have nicer Christmas Eve!

Soon holidays will come and before we'll realise December will end and New Year is about to start!

Yesterday I finally got a feeling that holidays are coming and winter as well, coz' it was lightly snowing all day long; but since it was VERY windy (in Ljubljana the wind was blowing with 80 km/h) the snow never made it to the ground :s

So, it hasn't stayed, but still was lovely to see the snow flakes "dancing" in the sky :)

Apart from the snow yesterday, I have no festive feeling...first coz' of weather, coz' there's no snow and there won't be any snow...the forecast is: low temperatures (today was -8 C) and rain...even for Christmas :(

The second, Miha is away and so the holidays became a bit pointless; we also already exchanged presents...so...

But there are some pozitive things as well. I met some friends already, I see my relatives :) esp. am looking forward for my cousins to come and I will stay some days at home. :)

Yesterday I met a friend after work in city and we went first to a shop, coz' I needed some more presents - bought some African tea - and than we went for a cake and tea. But it's so damn hard to find a place to sit! All great cake houses were full and even the Tea house + at the tea house was already a line of at least 6 people who were waiting to get a seat!

After half an hour of walking around, we finally got a free seats at Star cake house which is one of the best in Ljubljana (you can imagine that there are one of the best prices as well :P)

I also got lovely presents from her - I got mug for tea with filter, Christmas tee and Chocolate honey. :D

I never tried Chocolate honey, but I hope it's going to be delicious. :)

I have her some bathing products and chocolate. I hope she's going to like it; I told her not to open the presents before Christmas :)

I opened mine, coz' were in bag :P

I came home around 7pm, had dinner and than had a shower and chat with Miha.

Thankfully for today and tomorrow I have no bigger plans - I have to prepare parcels to be send to some of my pals, I wish to write one more letter and the rest wish to enjoy and relax :)

Board games

Here I am again.

I am kind of pround on myself being quite regular with my posts here at the Blog. :) I am not sure either I'll be able to keep up with this regularity :s

Nowadays I'm good girl at work and despite I have lots of things to do, I do a lot in the mornings and have than in the afternoon a bit more time to do the things on easy or reply or some mails...for which I have no time at home.

My afternoons are busy and so was yesterday. After the work I went to the post office to post the parcel for my Mexican friend :) and than went to Miha's place.

We had an appointment at our friends at 5pm to have lunch, coz' one of the friends celebrated her 29th birthday.

We had Mexican food for lunch, few very strong coctails :s and panna cota :)

Later we played the board games :) We are always looking forward to our meetings, coz' we are all "crazy" about playing all kinds of board games. We play Monopoly, Risk, Life etc. but most of all we love to play Settlers of Catan. :)

We have many upgrates for the game and only one is missing which we'll buy next year.

I had a bit bad luck yesterday, coz' I throw one and so started the last one. :(

Here it all depends, or at least a lot, on the placement of first towns and cities. And they all took the good or best number and I was left to the low one which are very hard to throw during the game, esp. coz' two cubes needs to be thrown.

So, during the game I was a bit bored, but ended the third at the end.

We had a lovely evening which ended very late in the night.

We now made plans that we're going to celebrate New Year together. I will cook and they will bake. We're going to stay at our place and I'm sure we're going to have another lovely evening!

Work

Last week I was at home few days coz' I was ill and now my co-worker is. :( She is not ill, but her daughter is.

December is a month when it's not really nice to be away from the office, coz' many things and reports needs to be done at the end of the year :s

I have already LOTS of work even if she's here, but now she being away, I'll have even more work. :(

I like December coz' it's month full of nice holidays, but workwise I don't like it. I never did.

I just hope that phone won't ring too much and hopefully the time will fly by very quickly. :)

Today after work Miha and I will go to our friend Daniela for lunch. She'll have a small celebration of her 29th birthday. We have to bring Settlers with us and I think we're going to have long evening which will turn into night.

I am however looking forward; I just hope we won't stay too long there...than it's always hard to wake up in the morning.

As for yesterday Miha and I visited her aunt to see her cat. What a cute little thing that cat is!!! Her name is MACA and is small, fluffy silver thing :) Really, really cute kitty. Hopefully will get some photos soon :)

We stayed there for a while and had a lovely chat :)

Than we went home; Miha went to basketball and I had, as every Monday, evening for myself. First I had a plan to write a letter, but than I got an e-mail from a friend asking me to help her with studies, so I was answering onto that questions for more than 2 hours. :s

In between I tried to watch Ugly Betty and I managed to wash my hair between commercial brakes.

I went to bed tired at 11pm.

Lately I am also "solving" some love problems of a friend of mine which takes quite some energy as well. I mean, I love her a lot and am always willing to help her (since she calls every day two or three times), but lately I am running out of suggestions what she should do...even when I tell her something, she doesn't do it, coz' either it's too hard for her or she doesn't want to. :( The biggest problem for her is that she has not much clue what she really wants...and I think if she would knew 100%, she would have much easier choice and idea and probably power to do it as well.

But on the other hand, I have to admit that she is sort of magnet for weird guys :s

At first they are all cool, great and awsome, but soon they turn into weirdows and freaks :s

One doesn't care much about her, the other is like a father :s Very bossy.

I don't know...on the other hand, she is also very changing person...when something good happens she is on the top of the World and when that person has a bad moment she already has all kinds of ideas in her head :s Of course, negative once! :s

Ahhhh....World is full of freaks!!! Thankfully my boyfriend is (let's say in compare with stories I hear) very normal :D

Weekend

I became a bit lazy since I was at home for 4 days, coz' was ill :s
Today I had huge problems with waking up and getting out of bed :s
I slept a lot while I was ill and had late morning yesterday too, so was really, really hard to wake up at 6am :s

However, my weekend was busy. On Saturday in the morning I went to shopping centre to buy some more Christmas presents :) and a BD presents for some friends and Miha's aunt.
Later we went to Miha's place to celebrate the BD and stayed there till 7pm.

Than we went to my place and soon after we came home I had to drove my mum to ER. She felt so bad and looked like she's going to die the same minute. :s

My dad panicked a lot and I had almost more work with him than with my mum.
We stayed there will 11pm and come home late. My mum was at the end much better, getting lots of medecine :) She now got flu and is at home...though she went to work today. :s

Yesterday Miha and I slept till 10.15am :), than had cup of coffee and helped my cousin to fix the computer. I wacthed TV in between as well and than at 1pm we went to Miha's aunt for lunch. After lunch went to Miha's place putting one maching together and than in the evening we went to cinema.

I got the tickets for Beowulf and hmmm...heard so many great things about the film, but I didn't like it :( I didn't know it was animated.
I kind of like the story, but I really didn't like the film :s
I would never pay for it to see it.

When we came home we watched two shows of Friends and than went to bed.
Now we're going to be busy for next 3 days and than on Thursday my dear is sadly leaving to Libya again ;(

This time he'll be the longest away and during the holidays which makes me even sadder :(
We have few more shopping to do, visit Miha's aunt to see her cat, visit a friend tomorrow that's going to celebrate her BD and another friend might come to see our bedroom and I'm sure few more things should be done before his leave...but won't be time for everything.
I just wish to enjoy the days with him before he'll leave.

New phone

I have NEW mobile phone!!!!

I chose to have new Samsung phone and I got iPod for free with it :D

So far am very happy with it, though it very different from Nokia and will have lots of things to learn :D

But that's all fun :D

My cat

This is my hyperactive cat MICI :)

She came from a family who stopped taking care of in the middle of summer and since than she's ours.
She is very, very friendly and playfull. She is so quick that I hardly took any good photo of her :s
I will take some more photos soon and will than post more of them....

My dog is very afraid of her, though she wouldn't hurt Pia - she only wants to play :P
And my dog...she's old and not happy to play :P
She even runs in front of cat or does long distance around the cat, just to avoid her :P
The are funny...

But we love both!

I am at work, but half dead :( I have a very bad, bad cold, headache, my eyes hurt and I CAN NOT stay at home! :( This month is HECTIC in every way and I can't get the day off from work.

I told my co-worker, that I'd like to stay one day at home, to at least get better a little and not to spread the infection on, but she didn't look too happy.

I should talk with my boss when he gets back from lunch if I can take the day off tomorrow, coz' its also not very pleasent to work when you're feeling as bad as I do. :(

And somehow I think tomorrow is the last good chance to have a day off, coz' than on Wednesday the magazine comes out and since than will be more and more busy here.

I also have been calling my doctor for 30 minutes already, but it's all the time taken. I need to transfer from my "Child" doctor to adult doctor and since I'm ill, I could do that soon :P

I have drunk LOTS and LOTS of tea since Saturday...more than one and a half packages of 20 filter bags :s

Miha kept filling the cups and I though that soon the tea will come out from my ears.... :s

Today I drunk one litter of tea so far and I will drink it more... :s

I ate LOTS of oranges and lemons, but it's not helping much. I guess I really should rest.

Sadly it's so that I have rather lots of things to do in the afternoons as well :s

Like today; will have lunch at Miha's place and than we need to buy present for Miha's mum, change the DVD player we bought for our parents and it's not working (grrrr....) and for the last I need to buy some food for my cat. Than I hope we'll go home...will take a shower and go to rest in front of TV, though am not really sure either it's wise to watch TV or not....my eyes should rest a little as well.

I just hope that the cold will soon go away! That's all I want right now.

Otherwise, Miha and I went to the seaside from Friday till yesterday. :) It was GREAT! Well, it's always great, lovely, nice...and as always time flies too quickly as well :(

We haven't been there since end of summer, so was nice to change the area :) and to smell pines and other mediteranian smells :)

On Saturday we had a bit more productive day than on Sunday, since around noon we went shopping to Trieste and came home late in the afternoon.

I wanted to buy some shoes for me, but didn't find anything nice; they have just weird "plastic" boots that I don't like.

But I bought few things for winter and I'm happy about it :)

In the evening after the dinner we watched "Ratatouille" :) It's such a lovely film :) I liked it and it's worth to see. Maybe I expected to be funnier, but still it's nice :)

Yesterday was very quiet day for us. I already felt bad, so I spent almost all day long in PJ and in bed with all the tea, oranges and lemons.

It felt good to rest; like a real old Sunday times when I stayed late in PJ, in front of TV while it was raining outside - the same was yesterday. :) Lovely - exceptbI would be much happier not to be ill.

We came home around midnight and than I went streight to bed...I didn't sleep well and today, I sadly had to go to work.

Empty wallet

It's that kind of month when money in the wallet is diseapearing much faster than usually :P

I experianced that kind of day yesterday.

Miha and I went shopping for Christmas presents and other things.
We bought some small things for our working room that we still needed. Bought bed-wear as well and I bought birthday & New Year & Christmas present for Miha.
He wished MP3 player and we found one with 4GB of Hyundai that was 85 Euros. It's such a cool, small thing - very neat. And he can watch photos on it, has two seperated disks, possiblity for micro SD card, it's a speaker-phone, has alarm and calendar...so many things in that tiny thing. :) He's very happy :) and so I am.
In the same shop we also bought a DVD - Bridget's Jones Diary for my paretns and than went home.

Came home late, than had cup of tea and than had to pack. The day has finally arrived: we're going to the seaside today :D
Can't wait. I just need to survive the time at work and than we'll go.
I was yesterday cleaning and packing till 11pm and than went to bed. Thankfully today I could sleep 30 minutes late :) and so I woke up at 7am.

Miha and I woke up together, coz' he has "cold weather" classes today till 5pm.
We had breakfast and than he went to work, while I had to driven my dog for a walk and fed the cat who than escape into the basement and I had to look for her - just when I was running out of time :s

The Christmas meeting with some friends went well two days ago. At first we tought only 4 of us will be there, but than 7 of them showed up :) It was nice.
We met in an Italian restaurant, had something to eat and drink and after 4 lovely hours we went home.
It was lovely evening.

For next evening we're planning another meeting/dinner with other two friends, but don't know when, coz' Miha is very busy next week - has 3 flights and some seminars, so will see.

We also made a plan for New Year's Eve :)
For the first time after 4 years I'll be at home :o)

Miha and I invited two friends for a dinner (I also know what I'm going to cook :)). We will maybe play some board games and than before midnight, we don't know...either will stay at home or will go to the centre. Will see.

I'm sure we'll going to have nice, relaxing evening :)

Do you have some plans for New Year's Eve already? Or Christmas?

I will stay at home for Christmas as well. Miha will be in Libya for Christmas, so I'll be stuck with my parents...as usually for Christmas...we will probably have dinner with grandparents and than maybe we'll watch a film and than will go to bed...nothing special actually.

But we have 3 more weeks to there.

Now I need to finish my working day and than ENJOY my weekend at the seaside :)

At this time of year the friends meeting starts. In one way, I like us to met, on the other hand, it's LOTS of these kinds of meetings and by the end of the year it's getting tiring :s

Today some of friends will met at 8pm in a Club near my home for a drink :) We haven't seen each other for months; some we haven't seen since spring :s

So, it's going to be nice to see them again.

About Christmas holidays...we have done some Christmas shopping as well :) We bought DivX/DVD player for my parents as they really wanted to have it and we gave it to them yesterday...haha, I know, yesterday was not Christmas Eve, but Miha is away during the Christmas and we wanted to give it together...plus we bought it yesterday, so though it's the best to give it away right away.

My dad was shocked and very happy. He was speachless :) My mum actually knew that we're going to buy it, coz' she gave the idea for it...but still was very happy. Now they'll be able to watch films and photos on their TV and won't need to come to my place. :)

On the other hand we also got our Christmas present yesterday from my parents. We went to buy micro radio, but at the end we bought micro "home cinema" thing :)

Usually those things cost about 200 Euros or more, but coz' of holidays are coming, this one way on discount...and costs 99 Euros :o)

We bought it, since it has many things we can do with it :) and it was also the last one. We are very happy about it. Now we only need to put it on the wall - we just haven't decided where to.

I also bought most of Christmas presents for my friends and to some I already sent the parcel :) I have to buy presents for 3 more friends, Miha and his cousin, but for that I still have the time. Miha wants MP3 player with 4GB and I have finally found one that is not that expensive. I hope he's going to like it...

I also bought a pillow for Miha's mum. She said last time I was there, that she has one old that its no good, so I though this might be good idea...I ordered two and I'll keep one for myself :)

Otherwise, my life has been so-so. Nothing special has happened.

I am now looking forward the weekend to come, coz' we're going to the seaside :D

We haven't been there for a while and I can't wait for us to go again. This time Miha suggested it which is also lovely - he doesn't suggest many times to go somewhere. It's usually me.

We talked a little and we will go for walks, maybe will go to spa for swimming and we might do some shopping in Trieste on Saturday. I'd like to have new boots, but will see.

We also wanted to go to cinema to watch "The Kingdom", but won't play there anymore :s

But I on the other hand, don't really care what we're going to do...as long as we're away from Ljubljana and together :)

Too soon the time for Miha's departure will come :(

Bedroom

Lads, we have finally finished our bedroom. OK, not totally finished. There are some small things that needs to be done, like putting some shelves on, buy new radio (probably will do this week), will buy new carpets; small one...and put all the documents, papers and writing stuff back.

But here are some photos, so you can how it looks. BTW: the walls are GREEN and ORANGE; not pink or light red as some said when they saw the photos! Sadly the camera is not good one and the light was not that good, so it looks different on photos....but it is orange...like the bed clothes.

Yesterday I cleaned it and put some clothes in the closet, but we need some more boxes to put into the closet.

We also bought new washing machine :) It was on one-day sale; since they had a Whirpool day :) and was 300 € - before the sale was 500 €! So, we saved rather good amount of money! :)
Now I think it's enough of spending bigger amount of money....

Now will need to think for Christmas presents, though Miha will bring some of stuff from Libya, since it's MUCH cheaper there :)
But I am looking very much to Christmas holidays :) Will have some free days, time with friends, though sadly Miha will be away fro Christmas....hope he will at least be home for New Year. Fingers crossed!

Sabrata

Here it is my last part from my holidays in Libya.

On 6th November we went to another Roman ruins, 75 km West from Tripoli to town called Sabrata.

We took a taxi and paid 2,5 € for it :) And we were 3 :) CHEAP!!!

This place, Sabrata, is very nice as well, though much smaller than Leptis Magna.

Here we were also cought by short shower. In split second has become very dark, looked like fog and than it rained for 5-10 minutes and than the sky became clear again!

After that short shower we went around again and I had a bit bad luck, slipping onto one rock and fall down.

At least the guys had a good laugh and left me there, lying on ground. Miha only took the camera and laughed while I was still on the ground :P

We had lovely time there as well. The taxi didn't wait for us there, so we had to walk for about 2 km to the center of city where we hunt down one mini bus and paid even less going back to Tripoli. :)

When we came back to Tripoli we walked around the old city for another 2 hours and than went back to hotel. It was lovely day out.

Miha and I bought few more presents and than we went out for a dinner.

Sadly the next day I had to leave the place and go home :( I had very lovely week, was warm and really nice :) I am looking forward to go there again...maybe will manage to go this year, if not, soon after New Year. It depends when Miha will need to go back again. Nowadays he's there, but I can't take the days off.

He'll go back to Libya on 12th December for 14 days and maybe than will be able to go for 3-5 days. Will see, since the things got a little complicated coz' I don't have Arabic passport and if I want to go again, I have to have translated first page.... :s

Not really nice news, a bit expensive, but probably will have to do it.

Will see.

Libya - Leptis Magna

Than I was day alone in Tripoli, went for a walk alone :) and spent some time in the room writing letters, mails and watched TV. Miha had flight to Bengazi where they stayed over night.

That evening I went out with Matej and Blaž. We went to one rather fancy restaurant called Al-Soraya for dinner.

I was at first afraid to be bored with them in case they would spoke too much or only about flying, but I had very lovely 3 hours with them :) We ate well and cheap and had a very good laugh. :)

The next day when Miha arrived from flight, we had breakfast together, packed and went to hunt the taxi for LEPTIS MAGNA - an Roman ruins by the city of GHOMES - 130 km East from Tripoli.

We made a good deal for taxi. We agreed that he drives us there, waits there for us and drives us back for 35 €. We've heard that we made a very good deal, coz' other pilots paid around 45-50 € for taxi to there.

Anyway, we had amazing time in Leptis Magna. About 20% of ruins are to see and it's already huge thing; we walked around for more than 3 hours. Imagine how long you would walk around if 100% ruins would be digged out?

The drive there and back was interesting. Villages there are hmmm...dirty (though was used to that as well); all houses rather the same with one floor, green (as green is there National colour) and some houses from more rich people have a little of Italian style.

The "sad" thing is that no-one speaks English. All people know how to say only "How are you?" or "HI" and there their knowladge ends! But it would be usefull for them to know more English...so they could say some words on our way there and back.

We bought ourself an English - Arab dictionary and learned some things, but of course not enought to have a decent chat.

But I know now some basic words and numbers which is VERY helpful as well.

We arrived from Leptis Magna around 6pm, went to supermarket and than went back to hotel where we had dinner and than went to bed. The day was long, but very nice.

Libya - part two

The next day after Miha's flight I had my first tour around Tripoli. We went to museum and walked around medina - the old part of the city.

I can now only say one thing. It's WRONG what people think or know about Libya and Tripoli.

OK, it's true that it's VERY closed country and without guarantie letter its very, very hard to get in.

Before I left all were telling me be extra carefull coz' you never know what can happen there bla, bla, bla....but I honestly need to tell you that I felt MUCH safer than I do here in Ljubljana. And the sentance, take great care of you coz' someone might kill you or hurt you is stupid as well...I mean, someone can kill me here as well and was hurt already few years ago when few guys made my nose bleed, so...

Anyway, the museum was very interesting. The nice thing is that there you can take a camera into the museum :) coz' here that's not possible.

We had very nice time out and walked a lot. It was very lovely day. Very warm and sunny :) Perfect for my "frozzen" body :P

The evening we spent with some other guys in the lobby having a drink.

Libya - part one

Here I am! Late, I know! And I'm ashamed, but I have been rather busy...which is bad excuse as well, but so it is!

The nice thing to read was that some people miss reading my Blog...

And so, now, at work, having time, I can post some lines. Probably won't be able to write all I want, but at least will brake the ice after some time :)

As many of your know, I went to Libya from 31st October to 7th November :) I went there to visit my boyfriend who is on and off working there.

I left from Ljubljana to Vienna and than with Austrian Airline to Tripoli - the capital of Libya. I had some problems at the Ljubljana airport with that lady who didn't believe me that I'll get visa when will get to Tripoli - though I had the guarantie letter! So, I made some people standing behind me mad, but I don't really care...it's all her faults, coz' she didn't believe me!

Anyway, we sort that out and I went to launge to wait for boarding. I met a girl there who was traveling to Tripoli to visit her dad, so I had a company :) I also saw a captain that I met before, so wasn't really alone. The stupid thing was that all three were traveling the same destination and all three with different plane! I went to Vienna, the other girl went via Paris and the captain went to Zurich.

My flight to Vienna was OK and even from there on was OK; no delays or what-so-ever.

I arrived to Tripoli airport at 3pm local time (they are one hour ahead from Ljubljana) and Miha was already waiting for me with another captain. We than waited 30 minutes to get my visa and than went to hotel which is 40 km from the airport.

The drive was crazy as I guess in most North African countries, though a bit better than in Egypt. The good thing is that I am not scared and could say that being in Egypt really helped me, so that crazy drive was nothing that crazy for me... :)

We arrived to hotel around 4pm and met Benjamin (Miha's co-worker who is 25 y.o.) in the lobby who just wanted to leave us a note that he and another friend Matej (the same age as I am - BTW: just something out of this context - yesterday a doctor asked me if I'm 17 y.o.??) are leaving to Air show that was going on in Tripoli. So, Miha and I ran up in the room, I changed clothes into something shorter :) and we all went.

It was GREAT. I was never before on any Air show and was very exicted. The sad thing was that it was last day and was rather late, so we didn't see much of air flights, but was anyway nice!

I was in one HUGE Russian transporter plane, saw some flights and had really nice time with those 3 guys :) They were taking great care of me :) Haha, felt really nice being protected. :)
The evening we spent in hotel, had dinner and went to bed. I was rather tired from traveling and Miha had flight next day.

Bedroom and travel

Miha has started with painting in our new bedroom :) I am really happy about it.

Yesterday we protected the floor, windows, doors and the rest that stayed in the room; like my bed which I will still need when the painting will be done.

He started with green and said it's a bit darker than he thought, but he said it still looks great :) If I haven't told before, we're going to have two walls in olive green and two in orange. I will take some photos today. I'm really excited and can't wait to go from work home to see it. :)

After I'll come we'll be painting together :) I will do the orange walls and Miha the rest :) Than it needs to dry for 2-3 days and I'll be able to unpack :P my bed and desk. It's really annoying to have everything in labeled boxes and than I search for things like crazy :s Eventhough I have labels on the boxes, it takes some time to find the right box :P Here I am one day later, but yesterday I had no time to finish my post :s

First the report about our bedroom...it's FINISHED!!!! Yeah! Yuppie!!! Hurray!!! We were working whole afternoon from 5pm to 8pm and did it. Of course, my arms almost feel off :P but now...WOW, it's looking great. I took some photos already, but since was dark and only with aritificial light, its not well seen what kind of colours are.... :s

I will so take another photos today by the day light and I'm sure it will look nicer! :)

After we finished with painting, I baked bread :), took a shower and than being tired sat down in front of TV wanting to watch the basketball, but fall asleep probably in the same second that I sat down :s

When the match was over Miha woke me up and we went to bed. It was nice to be in bed around 10.30pm which is quite early in compare to last days :)

Today after work am doing home, will have lunch and than will RELAX! Miha will sleep in the afternoon coz' of night flight to Istanbul and I will finally have the time to relax, write some letters, watch TV and go to bed early. :)

Tomorrow I should have the party for my birthday, but it is canceled :s

All who said that are going to come are not coming :(

Despite that my cousin said she will come and than we might play Settlers of Catan.

I on one hand like the idea not to have party, coz' of moving in and out the things from bedroom, my apartment looks very full and would be hard to host another people, but on the other hand I was really looking forward to see my friends...ahhh, maybe some other time!

Getting older

Haha, today I woke up with cold, neck hurts as hell and I got an infection on my left eye!! :( When all those things are wrong, the first thing I though of was that all this is coz' of age :P

Of course, that's a joke, since I know where I got all those things :s

I cought a cold coz' it's cold outside, my next hurts coz' of all the work we do at home (with painting and moving things around from my bedroom) and I got the infection coz' of the dust :( I hardly can close my left eye and even if I do, it hurts a lot! :s

I can't do much about the infection, as my doctor friend said; I only must be careful not to catch a cold on my eye - which is kind of hard, coz' it's so windy outside. :s Maybe I should wear a pirates patch :P

I hope soon things will get better.

Yesterday Miha and I finished with painting with our working room. :) Only one VERY small part of the wall stayed not painted, coz' will be orange, not green as the rest of the room is.

I am happy with the work, that at least one thing is done. Now it's time for my room to get new layout.

We moved almost all furniture yesterday to the basement and now today we need to protect the floors and few other things that will stay in the room and than tomorrow we'll be able to start with the painting. :)

I guess my room will be finished tomorrow and than will take photos and post it :) I'm very excited. It will finally get it's look :)

And as for my blog; I have new/old layout :s

I wanted something new, since I got tired of previous one, but haven't found any I would really like, so am back to where I start...

My 27th birthday

Was on October 14th.

I was, as usually I am, very much looking forward to my birthday. I always wanted that day to be mine and to do something special, but this year wasn't really a nice day.

I guess something has to do the fact that we spent half of the day, from 10am to 4pm in a car driving home from Bratislava. I know being there was a part of birthday celebration and was nice, but still the feeling wasn't that good after all.

Maybe you think I'm a bit too demanding...but I can't really say that!

This year I also got rather little wishes from my friends :s

And only one present. To be honest, it's not much about the presents (that were coming in next days), but I really wanted to have the feeling to open something and even if that would be only a chocolate, on my birthday.

Miha kind of surprised me not giving me anything. I guess I was lucky he did remember after all, coz' he is very good at forgetting the things! :s

I invited some friends over on my birthday and as at first they said they're going to come, at the end no one did. All did cancel :s

We also bought the cakes on our way home for them, but than we all ate ourselves. I gave two pieces to my paretns and two for Miha's mum.

Since no one came, we went for a walk and than wacthed TV. It was really nothing special. And now I turned 27 :s

Kind of scary! I was thinking that I haven't done much in my life and soon I'll turn 30. :( I haven't finished my studies yet, though I hope I'll do it as soon as possible; I don't have a family, no children, am not married (far from that to be honest), don't have my own car....and could say few more things. :s

To think all of my school mates have at least one child, are being married....and I am looser! It's on the other hand the truth that after High school only 2 of us went to University, but still...it makes you think!

Changes needs to be done...just don't know where to start. OK, I do know that I won't ever get married and will have children in few years to come :s, so its logical that first I need to finish the studies and than find a much better job than I have now! And I hope I'll do all that before my next birthday will come! :)

Bratislava - part 2

I cut my preivous post coz' of lack of time and now I still owe a little of something from my holidays in Slovakia.

The second day on Saturday in the morning we went to Devine castle which is about 20 minutes from the centre. We had a little bad luck with buses, coz' the number we were waiting for was no where around and later after 30 minutes of waiting we finally got the news that it's not driving on Saturdays :s So we had to wait for another 20 minutes for the right bus to come. :s

It was not really pleasent, esp. coz' was very windy - but sunny - you can also see from the photos we had nice weather - haha, but you can't see the wind!

When we arrived there - well, was worth of waiting. The view was amazing and the castle was nice as well. :) They had some free exhibitions there that we visited and walked around. The view was really amazing.

We spent nearly 2 hours there before we went back to the town. When we came to the centre we visited another castle in the center of the town.

We saw 5 wedding couples getting married in the castle. :) I guess it was perfect day to get married, though a little cold.

After the tour around the second castle we went to centre, did some shopping, though we didn't buy much and than went to shopping centre. We were walking around and had dinner later that evening and came to hotel around 9pm.

We had easy evening.

The next day, my birthday :) we sadly had to leave. :( BTW: thank you to all for your wishes!

The holidays were really nice, though as usually to short. But I hope, maybe one day we'll return.

Bratislava

From our way from Vienna to Bratislava we had some problems on the road and actually got lost once. :s

There were some works on the roads and how stupid - no signs! We had no idea where to turn left, right or do whatever it takes to come to Bratislava, so we did as we though it's the best and got lost...Normally it takes about an hour and some more minutes to arrive to Bratislava, but it took us 2 hours and some minutes, esp. coz' we couldn't find the hotel at first as well :s

The description of the road how to come infront of hotel is all WRONG!

But we managed; we asked some people and than went well. As you can see above, the hotel looks great; as inside as outside. It was renovated in 2006, so it's almost new :P
The rooms were huge with great beds, very nice bathroom and all in general was great! I think I chose again well :)

The evening we came, we only drove to a huge shopping centre where we went for dinner which was great and cheap in compare with Slovenia...than we made a plan for the next day and went to bed; were pretty tired from traveling and museum.
The next day in the morning we went to the ZOO. Read this: the entrance is 2 €!!!! Here in Ljubljana the size of the ZOO is more or less the same as in Bratislava and maybe for 1% nicer and the entrance fee is 6 €!!!!

We had a lovely 4 hour walk around the ZOO and saw some animals pretty close - as the lions and tigers.

Forgot to mention that as part of ZOO, there a DINO park as well and one "stupid" photo from there too.

After the visit we drove by tram back to the centre and made a walk around :) The city is beautiful and maybe it has a little to do the fact that's similar to Ljubljana. :P

It has many old buildings, caste, small squares and much more. But it also has something that we don't really - polite and very nice people!

Sadly, English is not their the strongest thing; but gosh, they are all willing to help! The problem we had was to buy two day bus ticket and we went to one TABAK shop where the lady didn't understand neither English or German and than we tried Slovene and Croatian and went well. But the point is...there were 2 older ladies (over 60 y.o.) standing behind us and helped us right away; they start talking, showing with hands etc. which we find very nice and something it's not going to happen here :s

Vienna

Gosh, I haven't realised that it's been more than 14 days since I post an entry here :s

So, it's time for an update. Luckily my boss is downstairs, my co-worker went home and I have no work; so perfect time to start with my upsdates. :)

Miha and I went for short holidays from 11th to 14th October.

The plan was one day in Vienna and than the rest of the time in Bratislava - capital of Slovakia!

We went from home on 11th Ooctober around 4am. The drive from Ljubljana to Vienna was quiet, nothing special has happened.

But than we came to Vienna and faced the first problem! Where to park? There were many parking spaces, but in front of them were all around the signs that it's no allowed to park??? BTW: we went to Vienna only with one goal - to visit the Techical museum!

We drove around the city for nearly an hour before we found a cheap parking house!!! On our way we saw many weird people who were walking around cars with foreign plates, so honestly we weren't into the idea to park somewhere where was not protected. :s

The parking is f*****g expensive in Vienna. There were 3,5 € for one hour!!!! If we would pay that much for an hour, we would need to pay at the end of the day 28 €!!! We are not crazy!

Than I saw one sign for a parking house very close to museum and went to check it there! Guess what?? The price was 3 € per whole DAY!!!!

So we parked there and went to museum.

We had lovely time in museum, esp. in experimental part :)

I tried almost everything they had there, but this "hamster wheel" was one of the funniest. We had a good laugh :P

After the visit, we ate a little and went towards Bratislava. It was lovely day, though to be honest, I'm no fan of Vienna and if I never go there again, it's fine with me!

Just a short entry to tell you guys that I was successful with my Political Economy exam :) I passed it and got 7. I'm happy, though the feeling was better, but anyway; the most important thing is to have only one more exam left - Math.

I don't know when will have it, but I think somewhere at the end of November....

Will see. Now I have some free days to relax and to enjoy the time with my "lost" boyfriend :P

I have free time and time to finally update my blog; haven't done for a while; except from that I made a list of guys, but that's not really report of my life :P

My half is finally travelling home and I am happy, coz' have 7 more hours to hold and I'll be again in his arms :) I can't wait to see him. Though he was this time away for shoter period of time, it was harder than previous time :s

He will stay home even longer than last time which is great news as well - though he'll go in between for 3 days to Frankfurt, but OK....

He's leaving back to Libya on 28th October and here it comes my first big news out....this time I'm going to visit him :) The plan is to go from 31st October to 7th November :) and honestly I can't wait to go :)

There are plenty of things that need to be done, but I am confidadnt that I'll get my viza soon (normally it takes from 10-14 days) and hopefully the tickets will be soon in my hands as well :) The best part of everything is that the company Miha is working for will cover all expenses for me; they'll pay flight tickets and my accomodation :) At first it was said that only wife's can get such a treatment, but than with some sweet words they said they'll cover my travel as well :D

The rest of the plan, what to do there, sadly depends on Miha's flight plan. If he'll have 3 days off (together) while my stay we'll go for 3 day trip to a city 650 km from Tripoli. When he'll be working, I shall go to city centre with some other co-pilots or captains; it depends who will be in the mood to go with me and who will have the time :) But Miha already mentioned to some and they all sounded happy and said it's no problem :P

They said they'll find a way to entertain me :P *LOL*

I already booked my free days at work which went smoothy as well :) Thankfully.

Now I only need to cross my fingers that I'll get my viza.

But before this travel, we'll have another short holidays :) over my birthday.

We will go by car to Slovakia to the capital Bratislava :)

We'll leave on 10th October in the middle of the night, so that we'll come to Vienna in the morning...from Ljubljana that takes about 4 hours of drive...not far :)

We'll stay the first day in Vienna till late afternoon to visit the Tehnical Museum; since Miha really wants to see the department of aviation :)

We shall have lunch/dinner there as well and than probably around 6pm will drive on to Bratislava. :) It is only one more hour of drive, so we will be there in no time :P

I found a really nice hotel in almost centre of Bratislava :)

I am not sure what we'll be doing that evening, if we'll go out to centre or will stay in hotel. But there are some plans for coming 3 days. I hope ti visit the ZOO one day :) and than need to explore Bratislava and some castles that it has, one morning or afternoon we might take a boat trip to Devine Castle as well. We are thinking to visit any closer city as well; maybe Trnava or Nitra, but will see. We have long plan, but only 3 days :s

What else is new in my life?

I had exam on Wednesday and it went really GREAT! I had a feeling like it was written for me. The questions were from the topics that I studied and was really happy. I hardly believe that I woulnd't pass this exam. We'll get results tomorrow, so...will report tomorrow :)

After the exam last week I had the audition for a quiz about EU and Ljubljana. It went well and I can hapilly say that I got a note from television lady that I passed the audition and now I have to be lucky enough to be picked for the quiz by computer. In first round this Saturday I haven't been lucky and I have two more chances before the quiz will end.

If I won't be picked up, I won't be sad, coz' I tried it and I liked it, but also successed which is also something I can be proud of :)

Apart from this not much was going on lately. I have been busy with preparations for new bed-room; with putting things into boxes and gosh I have things in my room :s

I never though I had so much paper, since you don't get that kind of feeling when you enter into my room (it's so clean and tidy :P)

Miha and I will buy the paint this week and than will have to do some more packing into boxes before we'll paint the walls.

Now we have finally decided what kind of colours we're going to have in our bed-room. Two walls are going to be orange and the other two will be in olive green :) The furniture will be made from mapel which is very light coloured wood and I think it's going to look great - the photos will follow. :)

We also have to finish our working room and we'll start over the weekend. We have for few days of work there and we hope to finish this before our Slovakia trip :)

Yesterday I had productive afternoon, coz' I baked 18 Chocolate muffins. My mum had a wish to make it and so I did. I took some to work as well and as much as I know we don't have any more muffins at home :s

Today I might do the chocolate cake, though it all depends if I'm going to be in the mood. Miha asked if I can bake something sweet for him :P

He loves chocolate, but there in Libya they don't have any sweets and I can imagine he really misses it.

Tonight at 10pm I need to pick him up at the airport. :)

Tomorrow in the afternoon I'll have lunch at Miha's place and than will go to basketball match at 8pm.

For next days I don't have any plans yet...but for sure I won't be bored. :)

Lonely days...

....came again since Miha left again to Libya on Saturday.

Why are these kind of moments so hard?? I always though this will be easier each time he'll go away, but NO. It was soooooo much harder - for both of us. Miha also said that he knew it's going to be hard to say good-bye for next 14 days again, but he also hoped it's going to be a little bit easier since he went once before.

I had much more tears in my eyes when he left and needed quite some time to calm down :(

I had to drive back home from the airport and was so hard to keep my eyes dry. :s

He called me about 10 minutes since he left and was such a lovely thing and I was so happy to hear him! :) Though than tears came from my eyes again :(

He's been away for 2 days and seems like ages. Days when we're apart always go so slow and when he comes back goes so quickly :( It's just not fair.

But I think brighter days will come in October I think. :)

He will return from Libya on 3rd October, than has some classes on 4th and flight on 5th October and than he got free days from 6th to 16th October :D

During that time we'll end our working room and need to re-paint our bed-room :)

From 11th to 14th October we'll go on holidays :) Yeah! To capital of Slovakia - to Bratislava. :) My wish to spend the birthday with Miha came true and even more! We're going on holidays....to a country that no-one of us has ever been there.

We book a 4* hotel by the lake and 3 km from the city centre for 180 € - for 3 nights with breakfast, free parking and free use of sauna and swimming pool :D

We'll go by car :) since it's only 400 km from Ljubljana.

I can't wait. :) I will make a plan for us as soon as my exam on Wednesday is behind me!

Nowadays I have to study and on Thursday I have the audition for the quiz about EU and Ljubljana. I'm already scared and nervous and am not really sure I will qualify for the quiz that will be on 6th October. But anyway, it's something new and it's worth to try :) Will let you know how it went.

Yesterday was a terrible day for some parts of our country.

Its been raining all day long so heavily that in Gorenjska and Notranjska region was over-floated.

Many houses are underwater, cars damanged, some children were trapped in buses from their trip and roads are damaged. :(

In Cerkno there was one of two "survived" hospitals (Hospital Franja) from World War II in Europe, but since yesterday it's gone. :( The picture above is the hospital before yesterday. It seems that nature has started to punish us in our country as well.

Not that long time ago a group of friends talked how lucky we are with weather; we don't have tornados, tajphuns, earthquakes, floods and so on....well, just a week or so later we faced one of the worse things in past decades :s
It's really sad, but we can't do anything about it - it's nature and we're destroying it...why she need to be friendly to us?!?! She has all the reasons to be angry.....and the saddest thing is....this things will happen more and more....

The good news, so that I won't write just bad once is that Miha and I ordered yesterday our new bed-room :) It's paid and all, so now we only need to wait for them to bring it to our place. That takes between 6-8 weeks.
Till than we have plenty of work to do...well, I do, coz' Miha is again going to Libya for 14 days :(
I need to put the things in boxes and temporary take it to basement, than we'll need to re-paint the room and so on....
We haven't for 100% choose the colour of the room walls, but it's going to be something in green...something in light green, I guess :)

And the second and last good news is that this is my 155's entry :) I know it's not that much, but to be honest, I never though and believed that I'm going to have it as many as I have it now :) and now am more sure that there are many more to come :)

Basketball

Past days are ALL about European basketball Championship that's going on in Spain!

When you open the newspaper you can read about games, when you open TV you can see the games and internet is full of basketball as well :)

But I like that, coz' I like basketball and our team is top! The first 5 games they won and came to quaters :) Than yesterday they played with Lithuania and lost. Well, not to say that is weird or sad - no, that was something to expect.

I sadly couldn't watch the match...I was sooooo tired, that went to lie down in front of TV at 9pm, but by the time the match started (9.30pm) I was already sleeping :s

Miha went to Istanbul at 10pm and called me before going and he woke me up! When we ended our concersation, which was short, coz' I guess I was half sleeping while talking :P; I just moved myself to bed and slept on.

Lately I have been very tired and sleepy. I had very busy and hard working weekend and didn't sleep much and went late to bed and than on Sunday went to bed at 1am, on Monday as well and on Tuesday against after midnight...and I guess sooner or later my body can't take it anymore.

Day before yesterday and yesterday went to bed at 10pm and slept till 6.30am, but am still very tired and sleepy. I could easly sleep few more hours!

I hope I'll be able to sleep longer over the weekend.

Maybe coz' of lack of sleep I aa feeling a bit ill :s

I have headache since Sunday and despite painkillers it doesn't want to go away. :( I don't know what else to do. I know some more rest might help me, but I can't take a day off from work this week :s Grrr...

I just hope this cold I have nowadays won't become a flu or something like that!

I think the huge change of the weather is not helping much eaither. :( The differences between the days in temperatures are huge :s

One day we have sun and the other day it's very cold and cloudy :s It's all mixed up! :s

I just hope that over the weekend, at the seaside the weather will be warmer + the air is fresher there :) Hopefully this will help me to get over my cold.

The last days, I've been busy with measuring and making plans for the bed-room. We've came up with some ideas and with the colour of the wall - it's going to be light green with lemon smell :)

I think it's going to look great :) and I'm really looking forward to start working. :) And how things will progress, will update you with text and photos :)

Buying bed-room is tiring!

I was very much looking forward to go around and browse, but what I saw yesterday was a bit dissapointing. :(

There are many bed-rooms that are reasonal priced and looking lovely, but than when you open the closet or sit on the bed...it's not that great. It's all shaky and you get the feeling that 10 year old boy put it together :(

The last shop, Harvey Norman, that we visited was better. We finally saw a bed-room (photo bellow) that we liked.

The not so nice thing/fact is that this bed-room costs 2.000 € :( which is not a little money.

It's true that my parents and Miha's mum are going to help, but still...it's a lot of money :(

With this we still need to think that we need to re-paint the walls and buy new lamps, which will add some more money.

We are not really sure if we're going to buy it or not. I guess we should look though some more options, for example how much would it cost at Ikea.

If we order it here, at Harvey Norman, we would need to wait for it 6-8 weeks. That's quite long period, but it's more or less the same no matter where in Slovenia we would order.

Ohhh....more browsing will follow and will see how we're going to decide.

My moment has come :)
Yesterday my boyfriend finally arrived home from Libya where he spent the last 14 days where he went on business.
His flight from Frankfurt had a little delay, but never mind. I felt like going to our first date! :) I had butterflies in my stomach, my heart beat was fast :) and I had the tears of happiness in my eyes :)
When those doors open and when he came out, I was the happiest person in the World. Those 14 days when he was gone were like years for me :s

He was so happy to see me and had a little wet eyes as well :)
He came home with a captain from Ukraine that is flying for Adria. His name is Leonid and I met him before we said good-bye. He is really nice guy; very nice, very polite, very funny guy. :) I was happy he was with Miha on the way home, coz' he helped him a little coz' of some problems in Tripoli.
After we said good-bye we went home. He stayed at my place for about half and hour and than went home.
He has flight to Moscow today and will come home at 8pm :s
It's so sad and such a weird feeling that he came home after 14 days and I was looking forward to spend Sunday with him and now is the feeling like they took him away again :(
The good thing is that next weekend we'll have JUST for ourselves :) coz' we're going to the seaside :) I can't wait! Though sadly there's a whole working week ahead :s

Before he went home yesterday, he drove me to the centre of the city where I met two friends of mine. We went to a Bar called Emonska klet where a boyfriend of a friend had a concert with his band. The name of the band is Cheppa Dorro http://www.cheppadorro.com/
The concert was from 9pm to 1am, but we came there at half past 11.
The guys don't have any of their own songs, but they sing others...still they all have great voices and as much as we heard was great!
We stayed there till half past 2, but I wanted to go earlier home...sadly I couldn't, coz' I had no trasport to come home :( The buses doesn't drive during the night, I didn't have enough money for taxi and to walk back home is too far - 8km :s
So, I had to wait for a friend, coz' she was my drive.
I went to bed at 3am.

Today I woke up at 9am, had breakfast and than went out to paint the windows.
As I may wrote before, Miha and I are re-decorating the room at his place that we're going to use for making wooden planes :)
My dad and I already painted the doors into orange (lookes great and photos will follow) and yesterday I already painted two windows on white and today I had to re-paint it, since two layers are a must.
We will need now todrove all those things back to Miha's place and make some corrections on the walls and than I'll be able to start painting the walls. :) The walls will be green; light green and I think it will be great combination with orange doors and white furniture and silver lamps :) When the room will be done, I'll as usually post the photos.

I finally managed to scan few of the best underwater photos Miha and I took on our holidays in Egpyt. I know the photos are not that good, but after all, we're not professionals and we did used the underwater camera for the first time. We're happy with what we did and we're both sure that it's going to be better the next time :)

Problems, quiz

I can say one word about my weekend: PROBLEMS!

I had many problems with my Internet - it didn't work! I called few times to the help service, but at the end we all came to conclusion that they are useless and can't help me. :( I had to leave my phone number and I am expecting the call today from tehnical staff and they will try to fix it. I mean, they have to fix it!

The Internet problem came in the least wanting time! Miha went to Libya and the only touch we have/had was/could be the Internet. BUT, I wasn't the only one being unlucky! The Internet didn't work in Miha's hotel either :(

Thankfully he gave me the hotel phone number and so I called him yesterday for 5 minutes to see how he is and what's the plan!

Its not really easy not to hear from him for 2 days :( I miss him a lot, but today when I came to work, there was a lovely surprise waiting for me....

When I checked my mails I had few mails from him :D That was really nice!

He supposed to have a flight from 6pm last night to 7pm today, but they didn't go, coz' the plane from Paris had such a delay. He doesn't know when they'll go, but it should be sometimes today.

But that was a bit to expect, esp. coz' Miha went to Libya with one day delay as well :s I just hope he won't come home one day later!

He said that one son of the captain is coming for 3 days for a visit and he will ask him how's with the visa, since I'm planning to visit him next time he'll go there for 2-3 days; preferably over the weekend, so that I won't lose any days off from work :) But will see. I only know so far that I would need to get my visa in Berlin :s and that is costs 15 €.

Now apart from this...I'm going to a quiz about European Union :s

I applied on Friday and on Saturday already got an invitation for a shooting that's going to be this Thursday at 7pm - it will last 3 hours.

At first I was very excited, but I didn't really mean that they'll invite me that quick :s

I am now a bit scared and am afraid that it's going to be a total disaster. :s

I'm scared....though on the other hand, I think this can be a challange for me and new experiance. Will see. I however will let you know how it went and you...KEEP THE FINGERS CROSSED for me!

Miha and I bought new eco-leather seats few days ago and yesterday we got it.

My dad helped us and we had quite some problems to put it together. :s

We bought one 3-seater and one one-seater. Of course with that one seater we had no problems, since it came in one piece, but the 3 seater was a bit of a problem. The seats have sort of slides at side and idea is to put the other slides into the others and just slide - than it supposed to click and the seats should be together. At least so it says in instructions...but in real life when you actually need to put those things together....well, it's NOT that EASY at ALL!!!

We needed nearly 1 and half to put the 3-seater together. :s

When we already had it together and wanted to put the last one on, something went wrong and the seats were apart again. :s

Thankfully we managed to put it together. :) I redecorated my living room a bit and now it looks GREAT! I am really happy with the bought and it's nice change.

When we were finished, Miha and I watched "Evan Almighty" on DVD and enjoyed the time in the seats :)

And BTW: the film is really nice to watch :)

And now, today...Miha is leaving to Libya ;(

At first he was saying that it's going to pass by quickly and that he's nothing afraid of and so on...but today in the morning the story was different :s

He said that just now he realised that he's really going and that he is a little scared :s

He'll come to my office around 2pm and than I'll drove him to the airport. Today he's flying there and when he'll come back, he'll return as passenger.

I miss him so much and he's still here :(

I knew this is how it's about to me when a boyfriend is a pilot and I understand that's his job and there's nothing to do about it, but still...every time he goes somewhere it's so damn hard....

I just hope time will pass VERY quickly those 14 days and hopefully he'll soon be in my arms again :)

Till than I'll be a bit busy as well or let's say that I'll try to keep myself busy, so time might go faster.

Of course, I'll need to go to work every day :s, will have another job interview on Tuesday (JUPPIE!!!) and than have to study for next exams and have few letters to reply to...I also shall find some time for friends and sport in between...

Will see....as long as time flies with speed of light and I'll be happy! :)

We visited the national "park" of shelves. Its really amazing how many are there and it is neat...a bit stinky, but neat. Nice to see.

Few days off to relax

Working week is slowly coming to the end :) but I still owe some news from past days.
Last week from Thursday in the evening to Monday evening Miha and I went to Ankaran. He had few days off and I took few :P

He is off to Libya on business tomorrow for 14 days, so it was nice to be only with him away; as it is always.
The weather was nice (except from Monday) and so we spent quite some time outside. One day we went to Umag, Croatia (that day was very hot) where we ment to have a swim in the sea, but at the end no one went into the water, coz' was a bit cold :s

But despite that we had a lovely time :)
The other day we went to Trieste to do some shopping again, since my mum really wished to have pasta - which is BTW for half price cheaper there as here!!!
Miha bought himself two pairs of shoes and I got a new watch :D
I got it from him for my birthday! I know, it's a bit early, but I really like it...so, why not :P

The rest 2 days we spent more or less in Ankaran. Went for walks, watched a little TV, I was studying a bit and one evening we went out in the evening to Portorož. There's a new PUB or BAR that is on the beach :) It looks great! It's a bit expensive, but it's normal for the coast. We had a coctail while lied under the stars...it was really nice.

As usually the mini-holidays ended too quickly.
When we arrived home, the next day, on Tuesday we went to buy new sitting leather chairs :) I'm really happy about it - we shall get it today :) and will than take the photos and post some here...
Yesterday I had exam - the pre-last one :) and it went WELL; I was soooooooo happy and I hope I'll be that happy after getting the results as well :)

After the exam we went to new Thai restaurant in Ljubljana. It was lovely. The staff there is great; the guy was very helpful, told us how to eat things that we order and tried new things. It was delicious and a bit expensive as well :s but OK; it's nice to go there once in a while...but not too often :P
Later after the dinner we went to Sceleton Pub where we had a coctail and than went home to watch 2 shows of friends and than went to bed.

Today we're going to enjoy the last moments together before his leave and than sad moment tomorrow. :s I already miss him and he's still here :s

Work, job interview, studies

Since yesterday I have new plan for my life.

I was invited for a job interview to Adria Airways; Slovenian airline. All people in this country know that working for them would be a huge deal - a future where I could be careless about the idea of losing the job - it's so secure! The lady there was VERY nice and explained all to me and the closer was; I should gradute AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and than I'll get the job there. :)
The thing is that I still have few exams to take :s
The next exam is on 22nd August and than have two more - one on 18th and the other on 22nd September. I should start with my thesis as well and if I'm LUCKY I could graduate by the end of the year or really soon after it. I find this GREAT motivation to finally end with my studies. :)

I have another job interview on Monday 13th :) which is nice news as well. I mean, I still wish to leave the current job as soon as possible...
Will see how things will go in the future, though the main plan is now to study hard and to pass the exams quickly :)

Yesterday so I was studying a lot and was at work. One more week of working not for 8 hours and things will be back to normal.
Yesterday after the studying, at 7pm, Miha and I went to visit my grandparents and than saw two shoes of Friends. Miha than went home, while I watched "Deep blue sea" on TV and wrote one letter during the film.

Now I have few more things to do in the morning and will start studying at 11am. In the afternoon we have BBQ party and in the evening will be studying as well.

On Thursday 16th Miha and I will go to the seaside till Monday 20th :) and I'm really looking forward to :)
Now the weekend won't be anything special...just a weekend. I hope you're going to have special weekend. :)

After my holidays, my days were more or less the same. I was going to work and after work I had lots of things to do as well.
The same day that I arrived from holidays, my paretns went on holidays (will return tomorrow) to Bulgaria.

Miha stayed all days at my place which was nice to have him around. Got the feeling like how (great) it would be to live with him!!! :) And I will for sure MISS him a lot - today is our last night (meaning the last time he'll oversleep here :s - and even tonight he's working :s and will return back home around 2am!
As I knew he'll be working, I hoped for breafast together, but than he made some plans for 8am and we won't even eat together :s

Since we've been both working a lot, we took a day off tomorrow - Miha had a day off anyway and I took it. :) We've decided to go to Graz, Austria to visit Ikea. We don't have any Ikea stroes in Slovenia and the one in Austria is the closest to us :)
We found some really cute things there that weren't expensive. I bought myself some candles, photo frames, lamps and one really cute lamp - at least I love it.

Later we visited some houses that are there next to Ikea and gosh, it made me want to have one on my own. Some are really great! Hopefully one day I'll have my own house :)

Before going home we went to H&M where I bought myself some underwear and socks and than went home. We came home at 10pm. Than went to bed and today went to work.

Tomorrow I'll stay at home. :)
Today after work I went to Miha's place for lunch and than went home where I cleaned my apartment. Miha went to work at 5pm and than I went home. I did the lawn, did some work on the garden, drove my dog for a walk and than came inside. I ate some fruit and now here I am. I still need to do few more things and than will go to bed. Am already tired.

Tomorrow in the afternoon my paretns will come home and at 6pm I've invited some friend for a dinner. I am going to have a very busy day.

Oh, and on Tuesday I saw Ocean's 13 - GREAT film! I loved the first two and this one was great as well :) Love it!

The rest of holidays

Wednesday and Thursday were more "painful" days, coz' we both had problems with stomach. :s
So, sadly, we spent both days in front of hotel and had relation between swimming pool and toilete :P
We also went to Pharmacy where we bought some medicine and hoped it will soon worked...and it worked relatively quick.

We actually hoped to be well till Friday, coz' than we had another trip - we went to safari by jeeps. I was once on safari with jeeps in Tunisia which took 1 week. This one was only for a day, but was GREAT!
The jeep driver was a funny guy and we had LOTS of fun during the drive. We went from Sharm to DAHAB where we went snorkelling around BLUE HOLE - very well known point for snorkellings and divers!
Before we came to Dahab we stopped at few points to view around and before Dahab we also sat on camels! :) This was my second time on camels and was fun - as the first time. The only "sad" thing was that Miha and I were quite far apart and couldn't make any good photos :s

At the end of the day we had lunch at beduini quaters and than went to centre of Dahab for some shopping - if anyone was in the mood. I must be honest and sad that Arabic people are hard to bare with when it comes to shopping :( The are very "hard" people and I had the over my head very quickly :( They are very pushy people who simply don't give up. The thing I don't like or let's say that we're not used to it is the fact that NO WHERE is the price tag! And I also hate when they think that turists have LOTS of money and they set the prices very high :s and than you need to deal with them about the price....and to be honest, I don't feel like + I'm not good at it.

Miha and I did well - we didn't buy anything except I bought myself essence of papyrus and Miha bought himself T-shirt. We also bought 4 postcards and that was it. I didn't feel like shopping at all!!

The day was GREAT and was sad that passed quickly.
After we came back to hotel, we had dinner and than went to swimming pool.

Only one day was left before going home. The last day in the morning we went around the Sharm, went to Old market and in the afternoon to the hotel beach. Sadly time flies and we soon had to go to the airport and than at 2am on Sunday 22nd July we went back to Ljubljana.

The holidays were (too) short and GREAT!!!

Cairo

Been away for few days, but now here are more updates from my holidays :)

On Tuesday 17th July we went to the capital city of Egypt - to Cairo. The travel took us for 6 and half hours before we arrived :s
That day I felt already sick, so the travel by bus wasn't really pleasent for me and I was a bit happier when we arrived to Cairo, though I still felt sick - probably coz' of the heat which was a bit more than +40 C! :s

First we visited the mosque of Mohammed Ali (not the boxer :P) which is in place called Cittadella. From there was pretty nice view on a part of the city.
To be honest, I had no idea what to expect when going to Cairo and at the end I wasn't neither dissapointed, neither overwealmth. :)
I knew that many people were living there and as much as I've seen in Sharm, I though it will be more or less dirty as well (plus I've been warrned that that the city is not clean).

The buldings are all more or less brown and looks boring and dull, there's not much of green places either, but still...every capital probably has good and bad points...and so does Cairo.
It's good point is probably the part of GIZA where are the pyramids!

You have to see that! That's really a wonder!! Those things are HUGE and it's really hard to imagine HOW on Earth they built those things so long time ago without any machines!!!!

The second good thing about Cairo was the Museum of Egyptian History. I love it there and was kind of "sad" that we had only 1 hour and half :s

In general the city left good impression on me and those 6 hours of drive was worth. Oh, I only "regret" that we couldn't see the SUEZ channel....

Ras Mohamed

The first trip for whole day was already on Monday. We went to National Park Ras Mohamed from where we took a boat and went to snorkelling to coral reefs!!!

The drive took us about 1 hour before we came to the first stop. We had than a dive and stayed in the water for nearly one hour.
There is not a work that could desribe the feelings and emotions when you see all those colourful fish :) We had under-water camera with us (the one for one use) and took photos which later turned out to be really good, esp. if you think it was the first time that we had it and work with it. I might scan some photos and post it here :)

We saw many wonderful coralas, clown-fish (if anyway was watching Nemo - that's the fish we saw:)), many other colourful fish for which I don't know the names and we also saw BARACUDA fish which is VERY agressive fish :s Even more agressive than sharks! :s

We stopped and waited for the fish to swim away, coz' if the fish would saw us, there would be high chances to get some serious injuries. And who wants to take a risk?
After first dive, we returned back to ship and drove on. It took us another hour to arrive to other spot and between both places we had lunch.

You can see for the photo the food we had! There was much more to chose from, but that was on my plate :)

The Egyption people are great cooks! They really cook well, esp. cakes and other sweets :)

After we ate we stopped at the sand island and when I was that was like I was in heaven! You know when you are watching TV and see all those GREAT sandy islands for which you can only dream about....well, this island was like that!!! Like in heaven!

We spent some time there to enjoy the moments, took some photos, swim around a little and returned back to the ship!
The last stop was another coral reef and there we saw plenty of fish as well. We also saw blue-dotted sting-ray :) That is one beautiful animal!!! Really great!
The time flew with speed of light and sadly at 6pm we came back to the port :( and our one day trip was over! I could do that over and over again and would never get sick of it :)

It was a GREAT day and I only wish it would never end and perhaps to be more in the water!
Miha and I said that if for nothing else, we shall return to Ras Mohamed coz' of snorkelling :)

The rest of the evening we spent in the swimming pool in hotel and soon after dinner we went to bed, coz' on Tuesday we had to wake up at 1am - we were off to Cairo - the capital of Egypt!

Departure day

I am - SADLY - back from my holidays in Egypt. :( But all good things sooner or later come to an end and here I am, back to work, back to normal life!

The good thing is that I am full of great memories from my holidays and all these memories I will share with you in some posts here on my blog. I shall add some photos as well, but in real, all is trillion times better than on photos :)

OK, departure day - 14th July at 20:00 in the evening from the Ljubljana airport, which has BTW new name since a month ago - now it's called Airport of Jože Pučnik! I don't know why they did that, coz' none of Slovenian people likes the idea....

However, I think I mentioned once before in my blog that Miha's friend will be flying the plane; the one who went with him to England.
We met him before the flight and he was really happy to see us. I also met senior co-pilot and he was great; very funny guy :)
The plane had a little delay, but we took off at 8.45pm.

After the meal we got (BTW: the food on our planes is GREAT), Miha asked one flight attendent if we can go to the cabin where the pilots are. The funny thing was that Miha said to those girls/ladies that he was one of the new co-pilots and no one really believed him; one of them said that she remembers him a little, but that was it :P

However, we than went to the cabin and the captain showed me all around - though there's very little space to stand there...but was fun :) and the captain and co-pilot seemed to be very happy and in great mood; we laugh a lot and was really cool for me :) being there.
After 15-20 minutes we went back to the seats and than did nothing. :s

That's the problem (if you ask me) on flights that last more than hour or hour and half; that after you eat, there's not much more you can do :( There is a magazine for each avaiable, but when you read that one, you are back to start :( The flight to Sharm el-Sheikh lasts 3 and half hours and I was really, really happy when we touched the ground. :) Not only to be able to stand up from the seats, but coz' we finally arrived there.
We arrived at 1.30am local time (they are one hour + from us) and outside was +32 C!!!!!
We went through all the checks (there are many BTW), got our VISA and went to the bus who took us to our hotel.

We stayed in Sun Set hotel, 10 minutes from Old Market and about 20 minutes from Naama Bay. It was a 3* hotel and was very lovely. It was clean, well furnished, had swimming pool, shops inside hotel...so was good. :)

As we arrived, we went to bed, since we were tired from traveling.
On Sunday 15th July we mostly stayed around hotel, exploring the neighbourhod, shops and so on.
We also stayed lots of time in the pool, coz' it was so damn hot outside.

We also had the meeting with out turist guide and we paid for 3 trips :) It would be a shame to stay all the week in the hotel and not to see anything.

Holidays

I can really say that my holidays have started :) Today I need to pack and in the afternoon I will sit on the plane and fly somewhere where it's going to be HOT :)
I am really looking forward to it. :)

Yesterday I did some shopping for smaller things that I still needed and in the evening, at 8pm I went to centre where I met with few friends. We at first wanted to go to an open air cinema, but I and Helen didn't go after all; the other 3 went. We than went for a piece of cake and later home. It was lovely to see all :)

After we'll all come from holidays, we will met again and play the Settlers of Catan :) I love that play, though I (still) don't have it. It's sold out in Slovenia for quite a while and it's really hard to get it. :s

The new thing is also that I made myself new rubber/address stamp :) My friend told me about the special offer that ended today. The stamps were on 50% sale and you get a date stamp with it as well + you don't need to pay delivery costs :) So, I paid 19 € for a rubber stamp that I would normally pay 38 € if it wasn't on sale :) I guess that date stamps cost around 3-5 € each and the delivery costs are 3 €....so I saved quite some money :) I did design it and order it over the web - it's really easy and they have pretty large amount of fonts from which you can choose. I didn't chose any logo, coz' the one they have are weird...but still, the rubber stamp is lovely :) I'm happy with it :)

So, this is my last entry till next weekend, but than GET READY, coz' I will have PLENTY of stories to share and many photos as well :)

Sadder news

And my last entry today is a bit sadder - or how you take it?
I got back the news from the Telekom Company and since it's sadder news you can already imagine what it is! YUP; I didn't get the job and to be sharp; NO ONE got it; I mean, none of us 3 who left at the end after those IQ tests! I got a mail today in the afternoon that they have deicded to re-organized a little one of their departments and put someone from inside onto that position! That's also why we've been waiting for so long on the answer!
I must admit that I haven't expected an answer like this, but OK, now it is what it is and I can't do anything about it.
YES; I am sad; you lie if I would say that I don't give a damn, coz' job like this is hard,
actually very hard to find,
but I of course won't give up. I will keep looking for new work and hope to find one soon, coz' just
today was a moment at my current work when it made me so mad that I would leave it in the
same second - if only I would have some other work.

I mean, my co-worker is really b****h! Sorry for the work, but she deserves it! She was at work yesterday and I asked her one thing to do and she writes me that she has no time to do it and that I should do it! Well, the problem is that I don't know how to do it, coz' she always does it!
That's also why I asked her to do it, since it's urgent, but NOOOO, she didn't do it! :( Grrrr.......
Of course, there was much more work that was not done and I had a pile of papers that were on the desk, not even dated! I needed more than 3 hours to put all in order! :(
But OK, if she's so rude, I shall be as well...I will leave all her work. I mean, there are some things which I could do instead of her, but I won't. I will leave all for her!
I really hate this and I am telling you coz' of this and some other things I would leave the work right now! I really, really hope to find some other work soon!

Keep fingers crossed that I will find a new job soon....

And for now...tomorrow need to go to work....again!

Korean guy

Have your heard a news that there is one Korean guy on wheelchair (he's operating the chair by mount, coz he has no hands) that's traveling around the World; not over all countries, but 30 or 40; am not sure.

Well, guess what??? We have seen that guy today when going home from the seaside and I took the photo of him - sadly you can't see him too well, but I couldn't take the photo out from the window :s
There's a bigger car behind his with all the medical care and he has two flags on the chair; Korean one and the Slovene one - well, the second one depends through which country he's traveling. :)
I know he did over 30,000 km, but sadly I don't know anything more. I even can't find any news about him and his travelling. :(
I just hope he'll safely come back home!

Few free days

Miha and I went for 2 and half days to the seaside :) We went on Monday after my work and came back to Ljubljana today at 1pm when I had to be back to work.

These few short days were more than welcome :) Just getting away from Ljubljana and to change the place is nice :)

The weather was more or less nice and warm. On Monday when we got there we went for a walk to the nearest camp where we usually go and I haven't seen the camp ever to be so full as it was this time! Many Dutch people are there, Danish people and Germans...really nice to see that many people. :)
We stayed out for 2 hours and when we came back to apartment we watched few shows of Mythbusters. :) Had late night and coz' of that we kind of had late morning on Tuesday as well. :P
But I guess that's the point of holidays or free days; to sleep late and to have relaxing days.

On Tuesday after breakfast we went to Umag - a place in Croatia where the beach is lovely with lots of shade and sea is usually cleaner than in Slovenia + it's free...in Slovenia you have to pay EVERY entry onto the beach :( which is really sad, coz' the quality of the sea really sucks!
Anyway, we spent all day till 5.30pm there and than went slowly back. I got a lovely brownish colour :) and this time no sun-burns :)
We stopped at the shopping mall to buy some food and than went home where I made us the dinner which we ate on the balcony + had some wine to celebrate the line-checks that Miha passed on last flight :) and than sat few more minutes in front of TV.

Yesterday was a bit colder day. Not by the temperatures, since it was +25 C, but the wind was badly blowing and we had a feeling like was only +15 C or colder, so we have decided not to go on the beach. We went to play tennis for an hour and half in the morning and during was even some light rain :s
After the tennis we went back to apartment where we cleaned, so that we hadn't had to do it today, watched one more show of Mythbusters and than went to Trieste, Italy.
Nowadays in Slovenia sales have started and so have in some other EU countries. There is a big shopping mall in Trieste called Torri d'Europa and we went there. It was really crowded, though was already quite late in the afternoon.
I bought myself one white 3/4 pants for 8 € and Miha bought himself 2 T-shirts :) that were for 50% off :)
When we came back from there we sat on the balcony for short to have a talk and than saw one show of Friends and went to bed.

Today after we woke up we had breakfast and than slowly went back home.
We arrived to Ljubljana at half past noon and when I got home, I only put some things in fridge and went to work.

The days at the seaside were as always nice and as always short! Till next time.

Sun has come again into our town after three story days :) There were even floods close to Ljubljana, but thankfully not here!

In our company all people went on holidays, my boss went to Rally race which will be over the weekend and I am stuck here with LOTS of work! :( I would really use some help now! I will come here to work tomorrow for few more hours and than will start coming and going on and off :) I though we will go to the seaside tomorrow as planned, but Miha told me the bad news :(

He got another flight for Sunday, so we will stay at home!

The worse part is that he got FIXED free days over the weekend and the company policy is that they should not cancel those fixed free days, but now in Miha's case they did it.

I don't know what he could do in situation like this, but I am not really sure if he could do much anyway, so I have to (sadly) face the fact that we're not going to the seaside :( And sooooo good and hot forecast is for coming days!!!!

I hate when always goes something wrong - always when I am sooooo badly looking forward to go!!! Why does it have to happen!!!! Why always to me??? Grrrrr.....

Anyway, today I had another job interview and went well. It was very friendly talk. The only "problem" at this job is that is a bit far away from my house; meaning to travel by bus, since going by car would take me 10-15 minutes - but I don't have a car!

The city bus is not driving there - only local bus which goes every 1-2 hours and that's the problem + I would need to drive into city and there change to the local bus and drive again though the city back...I would need at least 1 hour of traveling in the morning and one in the afternoon, which means I would be away from home from 7.30am to 6.30pm....and the working hours are from 9am to 5pm :s which is not that great either; I would much prefer to work from 7am to 3pm or from 8am to 4pm.

If I will be invited into second round will get the news either tomorrow or than on Monday the latest.

Sadly there is no news about the Telekom Company yet and I can almost for 100% sure say that I can all if OFF! I think more and more that I haven't been selected for the job and it makes me sad! I know one day soon I will come home and will get their letter telling me I did well, but not that well!!!

Oh well...I guess now it's not the perfect time to give up. I shall be looking for another work.

Since we're not going to the seaside (at least not till Monday afternoon which is now an option for us to go till Wednesday) I will clean my fish tank, that really needs to be cleaned, than will do some sport for sure, perhaps tennis since it's nice weather forecast (yesterday went to play badminton with a friend of mine), will relax and write a letter, since it's the only on my desk to be replied! I miss getting letters nowadays; I guess many of my pals went on holidays or have finals...so in neither case they don't have the time. :s

I also need to iron bunch of clothes and the rest of time I will relax. :)

Multi-function device

Yesterday I bought myself new thingie :) that will probably :P make my life easier. :) I had Lexmark printer before which was one and half years old, but I have been VERY unhappy with it! It made poor (bad quality) prints and it was the worst decision that I made when I bought it; though my boyfriend said that Lexmark printers are good! :s Well, I for sure WILL NOT EVER buy a Lexmark product!

So, now there was a special (sale) offer for this cutie called Canon multi-function device. The original price was 85€ and now it was down to 64€, so since Miha has it and his cousin as well and I know that is really working as it should, I decided and bought it myself.

I made one print already and was WOW! Really HUGE difference from the Lexmark print! I am really happy about it and I think I didn't paid much either! The old one my mum got and she was really happy! :)

Apart from this shopping, I also bought a birthday present for a friend of mine! The shopping was rather quick, coz' the weather yesterday was crazy here! :s

It was heavily raining and the wind was strong as well - actually in many parts of our country were floods :s

Gladly not in Ljubljana!

The evening yesterday was nothing special; we watched two shows of Friends, than I drove Miha home and went to bed! It was nice that the air has cool down a little and was a bit easier to fall asleep! :) The only "sad" thing is that I wished to sleep longer, but couldn't, coz' I had to go to work!

The good news is that I will be home on Friday and possibly on Monday as well. I mean, if Miha and I will go to the seaside on Thursday in the evening, than we shall stay in Ankaran till Monday evening and I will than come to work on Tuesday. :) The chances for us going to the seaside are not as high as they were at the beginning of the week or during the weekend, coz' suddenlly at Miha's place they have decided to fix the fence... :s and now we don't know either they'll do that over the weekend or when!!!! The forecast is not that good till Thursday...so I am a bit worried they'll start than and will do the work over the weekend....arrr...will see. If we won't go to the seaside, than I'll go to work on Monday!

And for the end, just a brief news that I haven't gotten any news about the Telekom job yet and am more and more afraid that this means that I haven't been chosen :( I mean, if they would chose me, I'm sure they would already let me know; today is 1 week since I took all those f*****g tests and I guess if I won't get any answer(s) during today, I guess I can sadly wave to this job! ;(

I have another job interview on Thursday at 8am! Ohhhh, I soooooo wish to get the job at the Telekom company!!!

Anyway, will keep you posted. Now I need to return to work - it's a busy day ahead!

Summer

I hate it and I love it. I love it coz' I have some days off from work, coz' I can go to the seaside or to any other destination, coz' I can (sometimes) sleep late, meeting friends its easier and few other things...but I hate it coz' it's so damn HOT!!! Don't get me wrong, I like when it's warm during the day, but the weather could give me a break during the night!!!

Tonight I went to bed at 10.30pm (so, yesterday) and couldn't fall alseep till 2am today!!! I even wrote an e-mail at 1am in hope that looking into the screen will make me sleepy, but nooooo!!! It was terrible. I slept less than 5 hours I am sooo down today...not being in the bad mood, but being tired and sleepy :s

I wish I could stay at home or at least have late morning, but instead I am stuck at work! :( If I'll be lucky enough, I will work only till Thursday and will be on Friday already at the seaside :) Will see.

The problem why I couldn't sleep tonight was not only the heat, but my thoughts! I was and am thinking really (too) much about that job at the Telekom Copmany. It's terrible and I really hope they'll call me today and let me know about the work. I can already see that I'm going to be dissapointed rather a lot if I won't get the job, but at least I'll have the answer...it's really painful not knowing :(

I've also been thinking a lot about children :s which also puts me in bad mood :s

Yesterday I watched one film with small children and it brought the thoughts back into my head that my dear boyfriend is so very against having kids :( Its so sad....it really is.

So, I guess the combination of all these things helped a little as well that I wasn't able to sleep that well. :s

I've heard that during tonight weather will be milder with some rain and lower temperatures...and I hope it will really be so.

I also watched Shrek 3 yesterday and I really loved the film :) It's yet again funny - gosh, I love the donkey :) and now the donkey has babies with dragon...you should see it; those cute little pink/grey flying donkey/dragons :P If you haven't seen it, do it; I am sure you will not regret it...but of course, you should see the first two pars as well :)

Well, my worries are over :) We got a news that we're flying on 14th at 6pm, which is over the time till when Miha needs to be ready in case of something happens :)

I'm happy it's so....and besides the time we also got the news that we're flying with Airbus A320 (so with Miha's sweetie :)) and guess who will fly the plane....Janez! If you were reading my report from England, you know perfectly about who I'm talking about! :s

OK, he is weird guy that I really don't like, but I hope, though DOUBT, that he's more serious when it comes to work/flying. The feeling is not that good, but at least I know that the captain is great guy :)

Now I'm really, really happy and can be more relaxed over the weekend. I also hope I'll manage to take photos of my new glasses and will than post it.

Worries

How on Earth I am so unlucky with planning the holidays???

Now we paid all, I already got the invoice and than Miha talked with them about the flight and the news he got; the flight is usually in the mornings! NO!!!! We don't want that!!!! Miha starts with his holidays on 14th, but he needs to be available for flights till 3pm that day!

:( As unlucky I am from the past experiances, there is high chance he will get something to work on that day! :s

I should stay calm and not to worry about this too much, though I have no bloody idea what we'll do if something like that happens??? If we cancel the holiday we won't get any money back, coz' it was last minute offer and the policy here about last minute is that none money is returned after the holidays are being paid; only in case someone dies....

God, this is just too much for me :s

Finally we get something that's not too expensive and we're both looking forward to and now this. :s It has really put me in bad mood....I just hope this story will have a happy end or....

News, news, news

Uf, it's hot despite they told it's going to be cloudy, colder and windy...

But anyway, here are some news from me :) And since most of them are happy news, I have no idea where to start :P

But OK, let's start with my studies and great news that I passed an exam which I wrote last week :) The professor said that we'll get results in two weeks time or even later, but than yesterday I've check for other dates and saw that we already have results! Yuppi!!! :) I saw my index number and saw I passed it. It's true I "only" got 6, but somehow I don't mind that mark as long as I passed the exam and have now only two left :) Both of left exams I'm going to have at the end of August, so have now 2 months to get well prepared :)

I have started to gathering the exercises and books for Math and will soon start studying...for Math I need quite some time and it's better to start as soon as possible. :) But I shall enjoy few more days with none work :) I though have other things to do, like cleaning my apartment and iron the pile of my clothes that I haven't had a chance to do it in past days!

The second news that makes me happy is that we're going to Egpyt :) on our holidays :) We're going from 14th to 21st July!! I got a good last minute offer in 4* hotel in Sharm El S., half board, plane transfer and visa! :) We paid 440 € per head and it's OK; I mean, it's not cheap, but in compare with Greece it's cheaper. We first wanted to go to Malta, but the plane was booked :s but I am happy with Egypt as well.

I've started with Internet search about what it's worth to see and do :) We will for sure go snorkelling once or twice. Hahaha, that's so far all the plan; I mean, we'd like to go to Cairo and Giza, but it's more than 8 hour drive by bus and we're not sure yet; will see...

I am however sure that we're going to have GREAT and bloody HOT time there and you can expect many stories and hopefully many nice photos from my holidays! :)

Speaking of holidays, we wanted to go to the seaside on Friday, but now I just got a news that we're not going; first coz' Matt (Miha's cousin) is going and secondly coz' Miha has flight to Malta on Sunday :s But OK; we might go to the ZOO or somewhere else for half a day to spend outside! There will be next weekend when we'll perhaps be able to go to the seaside again :)

The next news is that I have new glasses :) Well, I'm happy to have it, but I don't see that well with them :s I know my eyes need few days to adjust, but that's really bad the way I see through them :s I can't even have it more than 1 hour on :( Now will wait till Friday and will put it on and off all day long and if things won't get better, I shall go back to my eye doctor...coz' I really can't wear glasses and not be able to see well though them...it's not good for my eyes!

I haven't taken any photos yet, coz' Miha has my camera, but as soon as he's going to bring it back, I will take few photos and send it around or maybe post it on blog :)

And the last thing I guess that's worth to mention is the interview/tests that I had yesterday at the Telekom Company. Hmmm...the tests took more than 2 hours and guys, I was even more tired afterwards than after exams! There were plenty of Psyho tests after which you get a feeling that you are "ku-ku" person and that you need a doctor :s and than afterwards I had IQ test and after than when I was already a bit tired, I had one hour and half long computer skills test! :s I had to re-type few articles, had to do something in Excel, than in Power Point and had to translate 2 business letters into English. Ufff...and than I was free to go. I have rather good feeling about computer tests and Psyho tests, but that IQ test was....HARD and I had only 15 minutes to do 6 pages! :( I am honestly not that good when it comes to logic and need a bit more time to think through and to see the pattern that's repeating over and over, so was not really easy....but I managed to do all except the last few...but Miha said that's good! I will get the answer probably at the beginning of next week or if I'm VERY lucky maybe will get it on Friday! However, I'll keep you all reported!

And now...it's time to work :s

...are three words with which I could describe my weekend at the seaside :)

We went on Friday at 2pm. When we arrived to Ankaran we unpacked, went for a walk and when we came back to apartment I did dinner. After the dinner Miha was watching James Bond on TV while I fall asleep in front of TV.

We woke up on Saturday at 8am, had breakfastand than I was studying for an hour before we went for another walk to camp to Ankaran. We booked the tennis for the evening and than went to sit by the sea :) It was really nice. It was sunny, hot and we sat there for an hour just talking and enjoying in wonderful view. :)

Than during the talk we've decided to "jump" to Trieste, Italy (15 minutes drive from Ankaran) to go to huge shopping mall called Tori d'Europa. None of us has even been there, but we've heard it's a good place to shop cheap. Now...cheap is as you take...some things are cheap or cheaper than in Slovenia (like hand bags, underwear and shoes or some of cooking stuff), but than you have things like tehnical things that are more expensive! So...it's like anywhere else!

But it was nice time we spent there - about 3 hours! The parking in parking house is sill cheap :)

I bought myself new pair of summer shoes and one small black hand bag :) I also bought some Illy coffee for my mum (the coffee is really expensive here) and that was it.

I had coffee there and Miha had ice-cream and than went home to Ankaran. We had dinner than and later watched film "Mr Beans holiday" :) It was funny film :) Nice to relax for the evening.

From 7pm to 8.30pm we went to play tennis. We than enjoyed the evening sitting on balcony and talking and reading. :) Was really nice day!

Sunday started early as well since we wanted to go to Umag, Croatia and usually it's the best to leave early, so we can use the day well.

We had breakfast, packed and drove to Umag. There we found a nice place under the tree to lie down and than I was studying and Miha was reading the book.

We managed to go into the sea :) since the water was warm :) It was nice to swim for the first time this year and it felt good :)

During I spent 30 minutes on the sun I got sunburns :s

I have lovely chocolate brown arms and legs, since I had the colour before, but on my back and tummy I am all red with sunburns. :s

It's a bit unpleasent to sit, but I hope tomorrow will be better.

When we came from Umag we had dinner, packed and than sadly we went home. It was really nice weekend :) I did some good work, had fun and some time to relax as well :) Lovely!

Today am back to work...and till Wednesday will be hectic and than will probably slow down a little. :) Am looking forward + 2 more weeks or 3 the most and I'll have holidays for 1 months :D

I might go to the seaside for 5 days from 15th to 20th July :) I hope we'll be able to.

There are some other plans for the weekend to come, but it's all in the air, since Miha's plan hasn't changed and the planned things can't be work out :s

There' a slight chance things to be changed, but by each passing day the chances get smaller. :s

Will see...I'm sure by the Wednesday all will be cleared!

New glasses

Today I went on visit to eye doctor and my eye view got even better than last time, though my doctor said that's hardly impossible :) Haha, so I am special :P

Now I have (miopia since I remember) -1.25 on left eye and -0.75 on right and I will buy myself new glasses. :) I have one month of time to get myself new glasses and I shall do it after my exam next Wednesday. :) When will get new one will post some photos :)

Now am at work with no work :) OK, it's not really nice to sit at work with no work, but I have too. It feels like Friday today :s

And tomorrow when Friday will be I will have even less work :s but I will try to leave work at 2pm and go to the SEASIDE!!!

HURRAY!!!

Here are some photos from our last weekend at the seaside :) The first and second photos are of PIRAN; a place where the flea market was - it was on Saturday and you can see what lovely weather we had.

The place is really nice and worth to see :)

At the back of this photo you can see the church that's on small hill in the centre of city. It's about 10 minutes walk up there, but the view is GREAT! Worth walking :)
Haha, here are my legs in the sea - for the first time this year and here's the proof, since many people can't really believe me I've been in the "cold" sea :P
And this photo was taken on Sunday from our balcony. If you try hard, you can see how heavily it was raining that day :s Since it was windy as well the whole our balcony was wet badly - knowing that it has roof!!! But OK, those kind of days are PERFECT for relaxing and staying ALL day long in PJ :) And we did that!

We're planning to go to Ankaran again this weekend if Miha won't have any flights; so far it's looking good :) Just the weather forecast is not that good. I was thinking I'll be able to lie on the beach in the sun and studying, but I am not sure I'll be able to do it. :s The forecast says it's going to be cloudy with thunderstorms - as AM as PM showers :s I however hope they were wrong (as they are many times) and hopefully the weather at the coast is going to be nice! Nice enought to be outside! Will see....and will let you know when I'll come back :)

BIG news....

I just found out that I got into second round for the Assistant Office Manager position at that Slovene phone company I really can't tell you how happy I am - I really am!!! I was thinking that I did well, but never thought, or better said, never hoped (too much) to come into second round. I guess my self-confidence is low at this point which I admit, but there were moments in past around this job interviews where I had the best feeling ever and than was very dissapointed at the end. So, this time I didn't want to have too high hopes, but now am really happy I told myself not to hope on to much and will see what's going to happen next. I have my second round with Executive Manager of area where I'll be working and I'll have one working exam and Psyho tests! I'm a bit nervous and scared, esp. for the Psyho tests, but if I won't pass it...well, what can be done! The interview will be on Tuesday at 2.30pm!! HURRAY!!! I'm really happy and the news made my day!!!

The week after seaside

Has started as usually busy. Had to go to work where I usually have quite some work before our magazine comes out! And that week it was not different.

I spent the week being rather busy at work, played tennis once and badminton as well, did some studying, some shopping and some resting :)

Miha and I have decided to start making new wooden planes, so we went to the shop, bought 2 plans and read and wrote all the material that we need.

The one that are reading my blog since the beginning know that we've made 3 wooden planes already and all of them were made from sratch and with out own plans that we draw combining our wishes!

Now we've decided to make two via already made plans and will see how this goes. :) I'm being pretty excited, though sadly I won't have much time over the summer to do much of it coz' of my finals and my diploma paper...but I'll do my best to help Miha as much as possible and I'll keep you posted with photos :) how we're getting on :)

On Friday 1st June my paretns went to spa for 5 days :) and that the same evening two our friends came for a visit. I did something to eat and made coctails :) that we all really like :)

We had a pleasent evening where we talked a lot :) and shared the stories. We've become good friends in past. We used to see each other twice a month, but lately with all the work we all have, we usually met once a month :) which is still better as nothing at all. We girls usually write mails each other via weeks, so we know what's been going on in our lives :)

It was lovely evening.

Saturday 2nd June was a bit more quiet. I did some wood painting, cleaning and went to Miha's place for lunch. Miha had a late/night flight to Egypt, so he went to the airport at 5pm. I spent the evening alone with my dog, but wasn't bored at all. We were outside on our garden till 8pm, than I took a shower, got ready pen and paper, sat in front of TV and wrote a letter to a friend :)

Time went quickly by and it was time for me to go to bed.

Sunday 3rd May was another busy day. Miha and I invited our friends to join us for a BBQ party on our garden. We sent the invitations 1 week earlier and from 12 people, 7 actually showed up :) I prepapred all the food and at 2pm they came. We had really lovely time. Most of them were Miha's school mates from High school and some of them were mine from Primary school :) It was nice to see them again and to hear where they've been lately and what have they done.

They stayed till 8pm. After that I cleaned all, took a shower and went to bed. The weekend was though busy, but very pleasent one. :)

Last week was nothing special; again lots of work in the office and some studying, sport and pleasure in the afternoons and evening.

I also spent all weekend studying, so nothing much happened.

Now the new week has started and I don't have that much of work in the office which is sad...and dull...and time goes SLOWLY!!! :( That's the worst thing that can happen...at least for me...it's nothing worse than being at work, need to pretend that I'm working!!! Grrr....the only good thing lately is that my boss is A LOT out of the office and so at least he's not being annoying! Hopefully it will be so today as well :)

My plans for coming afternoons are nothing else except studying :s

My next exam is next Wednesday 20th June :s It's Macro Economy and I hate it. I mean, we can have ALL kinds of literature with us, all kinds of books or exercises with us, so you can imagine that exams are not really easy. It's my 3rd time writing it and I'm still a bit scared :s

Yesterday I also had a job interview for Assistant Office Manager at the biggest Slovene phone provider company and went very well (in my opinion) :) The interview was in English and the lady said at the end that she was impressed - I hope she meant something good! I shall get an answer by the end of this week and will see how goes on!

Now I need to work...and shall soon (hopefully) post some photos as well :) I wish you to have nice days...and sorry I've been away for rather long time!

No more waiting

OK, I was talking to myself this morning when on Earth I'll have the time to update my blog?? Sometimes I don't feel like writing, plus my computer has been broken for a relativly long time and yes, most of the time I have no bloody time to do it...but now I miss it! :s

I miss posting to my blog and now, being at work, I've decided to take some minutes off and post some lines after long time...its been a week since my last post :s

I've also been waiting that my dear BF will take photos off the camera, but he hasn't done it yet, so I am not really able to post any photos from the seaside. :s

He now keeps our camera, coz' he's in plane a lot and there are some GREAT moments when he can take photo of clouds, sun-sets or sun-rises :) Despite my camera is more than 3 years old and not really the best one...but the photos are GREAT! Of course there are some photos here and there that are weird or you don't really know what's supposed to be on, but I guess even if we would have camera for 1000 € those kind of photos would apper!

Anyway, some photos will come later during the week. I can now start with my update! :)

Two weeks ago from 25th May (afternoon) to 27th May we were at the seaside again :) I guess I've mentioned for several times that I love going from Ljubljana. I don't really care where I go as long as I go - and even if for one afternoon...just to leave the stressful place and that I have the chance to relax and put my mind onto OFF mode :)

We always try to leave right after I'm over with work, so I end at 4pm and that we collect all things and pack...we usually go from Ljubljana at 5pm. We need about 45 minutes drive on highway to arrive there.

Than we unpack and prepare bed. Later we usually take a walk by the sea to town of Ankaran - we have about 15 minutes in one way. We usually walk through the camp, have an ice-cream and than we slowly return back to apartment. Usually those kind of walks take from 1 to 2 hours :)

That Friday after walk we had dinner and than watched DVD.

Saturday was an early morning for us. It was nice, sunny and HOT, so we had breakfast, got dressed and went to Koper. We bought the tickets for cinema to see the Pirates in the evening and than went on to Bernandin where we left the car. We walked for 30 minutes by the sea to arrive to Piran - small and wonderful place on our coast :)

There was huge flea market though which we took a long walk. On our way back we tried to go into the sea, but be both managed only up to kness :P

We are both a little chickens :P and we need a bit warmer sea than it was...but however it was nice...I was also beaten by small cramp :s

When we walked to our car I already got pretty bad sun burns, though I applied lots of sun creame on my body, but I guess the sun was strong - much stronger than I thought. :s

From Bernandin we drove to Koper again to the super market where we bought the food for the evening and next day.

When we came home we had lunch (late one) and than got ready for tennis. :)

I have become a little obbsessed with tennis :s I have played it before about 5-6 times in my life and now I wish to play it at least twice a week - though it's not possible lately, coz' the weather simply SUCKS!!!

We went to play tennis in camp and paid 3 € for one hour which I think it's really cheap; in compare that here in Ljubljana one hour can cost 10 € or more :(

When we came home we took a shower and got ready to go to cinema. The film started at 10pm and ended at nearly 1am!

I was really looking forward to the film, coz' I saw the first two parts which I really liked and this one also didn't dissapointed me :) I liked it!

With the film, long and nice day has ended! :)

Now Sunday was completly an opposite of Saturday. We slept late and at 10am when we woke up and when I opened the windows, it was cold, cloudy, very windy and it was heavily raining :(

We had longgggg breakfast and than Miha was studying while I was cleaning a bit and watched some TV. When he was done with studying we watched a film - Der Untergang. :) I like those kind of historian movies and about people who made our World different - in bad or good way...and since the film is about Hitler...hmmm...

It was good film and despite it was long, the time passed quickly! :) And sadly so did out seaside weekend....

We slowly had to packed and clean the rest, took the things in the car and at 8pm went home!

If things go well and if Miha won't have any flights on Friday, we shall pack again on Friday and go to Ankaran again - I am looking forward, though my hopes should not be too high...otherwise I'll be too dissapointed if we won't go...but keep the fingers crossed, will you???

Mozirje and Mozirski gaj

Yesterday Miha and I visited some friends in Mozirje. It's about an hour drive from Ljubljana to the North East of the country.

We came there at 5pm. Their child Mark celebrated his 1st birthday, so we had a little cake at first and ice-coffee. We sat outside, played with Mark while guys were talking about planes :s and than we went to the wonderful flower park just 2 minutes by feet from their house.

Here's a little history about the park and some photos are added as well. :)

MOZIRSKI GM - FLOWER PARK Throughout Slovenia there are numerous green valleys. One of the most beautiful is undoubtedly that of the Upper Savinja with its friendly centre Mozirje. This is a small place surrounded by flower gardens. In 1978 it hardworking and enthusiastic inhabitants-with the assistance of the gardened from whole Slovenia - turned the land which had previously been a deserted municipal plot of land and dumping ground into a 7-hectare-park of flowers and greenery. As early as In April, the grove coved itself into the colourful veil of beautiful sprang blossoms, which delight our eyes as late as May. In June, it clads itself with summer blossoms and greenery which grow exuberantly until mid-autumn, and breet and enchant many loved of natural beauty. The visitor to the grove are also shown the way of life in the country a hundred and moo years ago and the implements people used in their everyday life. A farmhouse, corn loft, a hut as a reserved property, mill, blacksmiths shop and a bughouse remind up of difficult though not so hectic life in the past. The Park of Mozirje is open from middle of April to middle of September. He who only once rejoices in this beauty, he will come back to rejoice in it again and again.

Computer problems remain

If you are reading my blog, than you know I have several problems with my laptop Harvey! I had it on repair, but got back the same machine that doesn't work. Matt - Miha's cousin who knows a LOT about computers gave it a look and made several checks on Windows and none problem(s) were reported. :s We also install the updates for USB as the repair guy suggested, but nothing happened. It doesn't work. The last hope was to reinstall in Windows and according to the guy in repair shop, that should work!! Well, it didn't!!! It made me really mad and today the computer goes back! I've called to Office of Consumer Protection and they told me if they won't fix my computer in 45 days I have the rights to get NEW one! Matt is going with me today, so he'll explain to them what everything we did and that they should stop messing around and fix the computer! I hate not to be able to use my computer! I have Miha's laptop, but you know; despite is his, I can not allow myself to do everything on it as I do on mine :s

Anyway, let's talk about my weekend.
I had lovely weekend, though on Sunday I had all afternoon a headache and needed to rest.

If I start with Friday afternoon. Miha and I baked two cakes. One chocolate-banana one and the other with pudings and cookies. We made both cakes for Miha's mum who celebrated her birthday on Saturday. The cakes were yummie and both were gone really quickly.

Saturday I managed to slept till 9am :) Which is GREAT! I mean, all weekends I have the problem that I wake up at 6.30am, like during the week when I need to go to work. It's been a while since I slept a bit longer over the weekend, so was happy I did on Saturday :)
In the morning I finished with cakes - you know, final touch and than wrote one letter and went to the post office. At 1pm I took my dog in the car and went to Miha's place where we had BBQ party :) We had really lovely day and there was good food - which I didn't eat much, since I just stopped with diet on Friday and have to be careful with food!
We stayed at Miha's place till 8pm and than went home. When we arrived to my place we watched a film called "The fountaine", but soon after start I fall alsleep. I had no idea what the story or point of that film was :s
After the film was over, I went to bed!

On Sunday in the morning I, Miha and my cousin went up on the hill near my place. Hmmm...I really should take a photo and put it here, so you'll see it.
I managed to sleep till 9am again :) and we start the journey :P at 10am. Came home at 1pm with headache :s I guess I should wear something on my head and I'm sure I got the headache from the sun :s
Than I had to go to work to get some papers for our editor who forgot to took it on Friday :s
When I came home I did us lunch (some Mexican food) and than I went to bed. Took a pail killer and went to sleep. Miha was studying while I was sleeping.
I slept till 6pm and when I woke up I still had headache :( We than took a short walk and in the evening we wacthed a documentary film called "The coorporation". It was interesting film to see how all, not only American coorporations work! And so my weekend end and new working week has started!

Yesterday was quite a busy day at work and I had busy afternoon at home as well. I did some cleaning, helped my dad with some wood in the garden, I managed to iron that huge mountain of clothes I had, washed my hair and at 10pm I went to bed!

Today after work I'm off to University and than to Chinese restaurant to have a nice vege dinner! Ufff...this week will be busy, but I don't mind, since I'm really looking forward to the Friday at 3pm when will leave the work and head off to the seaside :) HURRAY!!! 4 more days to go.....

I've also got 3 books to read till 20th June for my thesis about which we'll talk with my professor on that day when we'll have the meeting. The books are about microeconomy, so I'm not looking forward, but have to do it. Now it's going for real...the finish line is closer and closer. The only thing it sucks is the fact that only one day later I have one exam and will need to study for that too :s

I just need to do a good plan, organize myself well and than stick to it! Well, I'm sure I'll do it! It's for my good!

Info about job

Today I got the news about work - current one.

The girl I'm supstitute for came today to quit! That was to be honest, a huge surprise for all of us. Than we had another agreament!

I'm staying at this work till end of August for sure! And ALL this kind of suits me! WHY?

1st - I wasn't excepted for that Korean Company :( coz' someones daughter started instead of me...

2nd - from 15th July to 15th August I'll have PAID days off :)

3rd - it's better to have something than nothing, right? So far I haven't been lucky with any other job, so this kind of saved me, though as many may know, this is not really great working place!

4th - my working time is running :)

And last but not least - I'll get the money! That's something as well, right? Much better to get something than be at home without any work and of course without any money as well.

We agreed that I'll stay till end of August and than will see how it goes. I'll start seeking for new job at the beginning of August and as soon as I'll find something better, I'll leave here. My boss was (surprise, surprise) nice and has excepted my offer!

The good thing is also that now I'll have plenty of time to study for my last exam which I'll have at the end of August during the time I'll be home + Miha and I will be able to go to the seaside for few days, if he won't fly much. :)

I am happy the way all ended and at least for 2 months I have one problem less :)

Apart from this - my computer still doesn't work, though it was on "repair" :( But tomorrow Miha's cousin Matt is going to give it a check. I hope we'll soon be able to fix it otherwise I'll go nuts!

Yesterday Miha and I went to cinema to see "Wild Hogs". Haha, it was really funny film :) It was really nice to have such an easy going evening! :)

And today...after my work (sadly I'm without any work stuck here for 2 more hours - HELP!!!) I'll go home and have my LAST meal of 5-week-fruit-vege-diet and than as soon as Miha will come, we'll start baking cakes. Tomorrow Miha's mum has BD and we'll have BBQ party. We bought her present, but as she buys cake every year, we've decided to bake, not only one, but two cakes for her!

One will be chocolate one with bananas and the other will be pudding cake with cookies! I hope she'll like it!

Speaking about my diet - it went well, those sometimes my days seems to be looonnngggg! I stick to it 100% and at the end lost 3,5 kg. :) I am happy! I shall now watch out a little about what and how much I eat and will try to exercise as much as I did till now! :)

Job interview

It's raining outside, I'm at work and coz' I'm not that busy, I have time for one short post!

Yesterday I had job interview for one Korean Company who are dealing with import cars. It went very well and now am waiting for their answer that I should get either today or tomorrow. I also got an offer for another job in Ljubljana and the payment is not that high as at the Korean Company, but it's in Ljubljana. I'm still not sure if I want to move to the coast or not?!? Will see what will happen today and tomorrow.

Yesterday I watched in the evening a film "Last king of Scotland". VERY good film. If you haven't seen it it's really worth to see it.

I might watch Ned Kelly tonight, since Miha goes to the party at 10pm!

The good news is also that my computer is back from repair which was very quickly and the good news is that hardware & computer itself are OK, but there's something wrong with Windowns :( and they made a suggestion that I should copy all my data to portable disk, format the computer and re-install everything! :s

I might do that today as well; maybe while watching TV. I will go for lunch after work to Miha's place and than will go home. I however will need to keep myself busy, so won't think too much about Miha's party. :s

I hope day will be nice, though it's such a moody weather and I'm afraid Miha will be moody again :( I don't want that!

Strange days

Days lately are strange! Many not happy things have happened since last Friday.

First my laptop broke down. On Thursday was already working and I shurt it down as every time, but than on Friday it didn't want to start :( The electricity was and I only got it to logo HP and than it froze! I asked computer freaks at work what may the problem be and than gave me some suggestions and solutions, but sadly none of it worked! I so took it to repair yesterday and there are two scenarios - either my disk broke down or there's something wrong with Windows as system! The good thing is that it's still under gerantie and so I won't need to pay. :) I will get it somehwere at the beginning of next week and until than I am using Miha's laptop! :) I have PC upstairs, which my mum is using now since I have laptop, but I don't know what she was doing, but the Opera browser doesn't work well - the pages are keep closing and I can open the webmail page millions of time and always does close it it self few seconds after I open it. At the end of the month they're off on holidays and than I'll make her computer work as it should and I hope she won't bring tonz of things on again :s

Than I had some love problems as well which we solved, though the feeling is not the same. I hope in few days I'll feel better and hopefully things will sort out in the right direction!

What also makes me depressing is the fact that only one more month I'll be at this work! Than my contract ends since the lady I'm her substitution comes back from maternity leave :s I don't want to work here anymore and there's no chance from company side that we would extend the contract (which I don't have btw), but I want another job - hopefully better as this one. And there's a problem. I sent out more than 40 job applications and got 2 interviews out of it and at both companies they gave me negative answer with explanation that I want to much money! :s It's not that I want 1000 € or more, but even what I said it seems to be too much for them :s But for my University eduacation I think 500 € per month is not enough. I'm not greedy or whatsoever, but I think I would be underpaid with that amount of money! That's my opinion!

There's however a light at the end of a tunel :) Today, in 45 minutes I have job interview. I've been invited to work as Office Manager at the Korean Company. They're offering more money than I get here and it all looks nice. The only negative side is that if I would get a job, I would need to move to seaside - to Ankaran. The work is in the biggest International Slovenian port Koper which is 7 km from the Ankaran.

If I would take the job many things in my life would change...esp. in the relationship with Miha. He works in Gorenjska region in Brnik which is 25 km from Ljubljana and I'd be about 130 km far from him! The good thing at least at the start is that he flies only 2 or 3 times per 14 days, so he could be with me there...but still...am I willing to do all this coz' of the money?

I shall see how the interview today goes!

And the last news from my side is that I'm on diet. I started yesterday and am slowly progessing.

Day 1: Breakfast should be at 7am): coffee without sugar or milk (which I don't really like, so I usually have tea which can be substitution), fruit (all kinds except banana) and one craker. Lunch (at noon): 1 cooked egg, 2 crekars and one yogurt Dinner (which should be at 5pm): 2 tomatos, 1 cucamber and 1 cooked egg

Day 2: Breafast and lunch are the same Dinner: 1 tomato, fruit and 100 g of cooked beef meat

Day 3: Yet again breakfast and lunch are the same Dinner: 1 tomato, 1 cucamber, 1 cooked egg and 2 crekars

Day 4: Breakfast is the same Lunch: 1 yugurt, 100 g of cheese, 1 tomato and fruit Dinner: 125 g of cooked beef, 1 cooked egg, 1 craker and fruit

Day 5 (last day) Breakfast is yet again the same Lunch: 2 cooked eggs, yogurt and fruit Dinner: 100 g of cheese and salad (without salt)

The diet said that you can lose 5 kg, so one 1 kg per day and actually, yesterday I really lost 1 kg. You should drink at least 1,5 l of water per day and should move around; like either 30 minutes of walk, 30 minutes by bike or 15-30 minutes of running per day. Pilates or yoga are OK as well, so as swimming or hiking. I went running for 15 minutes yesterday and will do today as well if the weather will be OK, though its very cloudy today and showers are expected :s and tomorrow rain all day long. In case of bad weather I'll do Pilates for 20 minutes! I am feeling OK so far and let's hope it will remain like this and hopefully I'll lose some kg!

What is love and how do you measure love?

I have had some love problems which are sometimes welcome, but still...it makes me moody and it makes me sad! I usually end up having too much time (evern when I'm busy) and so I start thinking all about, which usually doesn't end well. :s

You see, I'm that kind of person who is usually rather pesimistic than optimistic. :s OK, we could debate what's better, but so it is. My explanation (which is probably very lame) is that it's better to be prepared for worse and when or if it doesn't happy, I am happier!

I am also that kind of person who would sometimes PREFER to RUN away and brake up with the guy despite ALL the LOVE I HAVE towards him, than putting some efford and time into solving the problem! :(
Maybe the problem lies in fact that being with my current boyfriend (been 3 and half years together) ALWAYS puts me in loosing position. :( I mean, he thinks he's always right and always must have to be done his way and no way around. Even the compromise is sometimes hard to achive. BUT I still love him with all my heart, though he makes (sometimes) my life miserable!

How can a relationship be successful without taking and GIVING?? I am pretty sure he doesn't know that word (giving) very well. :s There's lots of TAKE from his side and very little to give.
When he tells me that he loves me VERY much...how much? With what can I measure MUCH and how should I know how much is as much as he thinks and says???

Though years of our relationship I used to leave him small cards here and there with notes! There were not many, but some.
Just today when already we had a fight, he tells me that he was looking to one and though how long he hasn't received any?? Hmmm....a month ago??? And besides...when I receved any?? NEVER!

Why are guys such a EGO humans and WHY they CAN'T EVER think of something like this?? Or anything else that would make US - ladies - HAPPY???

WHY?

Am not saying that ALL guys are like mine...I however, haven't find that kind yet! Will I ever? DO NOT KNOW, but if you know someone, you can let me know!

We arrived from Hungary on Thursday around 2am and I had that day working day :s I drove from Budapest to boarder and than Miha overtook it and I sat on the back seats and was sleeping almost all the way to Ljubljana. When I came home I went streight to bed and slept those 4 short hours before I had to get up and go to bed :( I was like zombi; I had no idea where I was and what day it was.
I went to work, but felt like train would ran over me :( I was alllllll day so damn sleepy and hardly kept my eyes open :(

I somehow got through Thursday and Friday and than was pleasently surprised! 1st I passed two exams for which I was waiting for results since February!!!! and 2nd Miha had weekend off, so he asked me if I want to go to the seaside :) HURRAY! Just came from holidays and already went away again! Nothing makes me happier (well, there are few more things) as going away from Ljubljana. This place slowly makes me very stressed out and not a pleasent place to live! :s

I came home from work on Friday, had lunch, packed and at 5.30pm we were already on our way :) When we arrived we went for a walk and than watched a film.
Saturday was mixed weather day, so we stayed most of the time indoors. Each time we dressed and put the shoes on to go out for a walk, it started to rain :s However, even staying indoors was fun! We played some computer games, I did some sudoku and watched some TV. WE than managed to go for an hour and half long walk in the evening, after the dinner.

Sunday was much nicer, sunnier day. I spent some time sunbathing on balcony and just after 15-20 minuts I got sun burns :s so I went indoors!
We relaxed a lot and went for another long walk, had ice-cream and than after lunch we cleaned a little and watched TV. Miha wanted to watch basketball finals there, so we did. I was sleeping most of the time. Went home around 11pm and came home at half past midnight on Monday :s
I yet again went to bed, since I had to go to work.

Now have been to work since Monday and it's been rather hectic. Now am still alone in the office and since I have quite some problems with Internet at home, I have decided to give it a quick update here before I start working :)

The week has been busy after work as well. :s I am writing many job applications, helping my grandparents a little, since they're not feeling well etc.
Today I have shopping afternoon in plan, coz' we've been invited to visit a friend who has one year old baby and we need to buy something for him, than we need some things for our cactuses and I'll buy myself colour to dye my hair. I have now two fave one, just need to chose!

Tomorrow I might go to BBQ party with Miha. Friday will be peacefull day, since Miha is flying two routes (to Priština, Serbia and than to Frankfurt) and will be away all day long.
On Saturday if it won't be rainy, we'll go to Nautical fair to Portorož and in the evening we might go for a drink with some...hmmm..can't call them friend...but with some people! Sunday will be day for cleaning, washing clothes, ironing and sort of things :s

I wonder when I'll have any time to write all those letters on my desk.....

Last day - Budapest - the capital

Sadly the last day arrived. We went to visit the capital of Hungary - BUDAPEST. There are 200 km from Lake Balaton to city. I yet again have to tell you HOW GREAT the signs on roads are! REALLY are! Miha was sleeping most of the time and I had NO problem finding the right road or whatsoever! I guess our builders should go to Hungary and see how's done, coz' here any foreign would have quite some problems on roads :s Not something we should be proud of, but so it is.

Anyway; after 2 and half hours of drive we arrived! Hmmm...first impression (like in any other capital)...VERY CROWDED! There are many (most of) one way streets :s which could take you all around, but since was so crowded we had more than enough time to check the map (thankfully we had it) and find one free Park house. When we finally parked we went to see the Parlament.

We've read somewhere that this is the biggest Parlament building in Europe, but it's actually hard to say that this is true! I mean, YES, it's big (few times bigger than in Ljubljana), but if it's the biggest? I would say NO. Somehow I find the Big Ben & Wesminster in London bigger (or it's just optical) and even the Parlament in Berlin looks as big as the one in Budapest. So...hard to say.

But it is without a doubt VERY magnificant building. It makes you think HOW lame and how terrible, with no style our parlament is :(

We had to keep an eye on the clock, coz' at 2pm we had appointment at Deak Ferenc sqaure with my dear friend :) BTW: you get the feeling that everything has something to do either with Deak or Ferenc :P

Anyway, we met at 2pm :)

The first thing we exchanged presents and hun, thank you again for wonderful photo album - is already FULL of Hungarian photos ;)

Than we decided to go up on the castle and walked on the other side around. She told us so many interesting things :) and we enjoyed very much!

We also did some shopping - bought Hugarian flag and some postcards :) We also experianced a crazy drive by bus and than soon we had to say good-bye, since she had to leave for work. It was really nice meeting her and once more time dear köszönöm :)

When we said good-bye Miha and I went to Indian restaurant to have something to eat; which was a bit too spicy for me :s

After a meal we went to park house and than by car to one of the shopping centres! WOW, huge thing that was! We don't have anything like this! We didn't know where to start...but spent about 2 hours there. I bought nothing, except some wine for presents and Miha came from shopping centre as lady - full of bags :P

We packed and left back home :(

Sadly all things that are GREAT pass by too fast and so did this holidays! However, I was VERY HAPPY we went in the first place! I had wonderful time, met my great friend...so without a doubt WE'LL BE BACK!

Day 2 - Hévíz and Tihany

The second day when our asses hurt badly :P we sat in the car after breakfast and drove to 5km away town Hévíz. There is a lake which is filled with thermal water. The thermal lake of Hévíz is the largest biologically active, natural thermal lake of the world which refreshes both the body and the soul.The oldest and most well-known bath of Hungary, in accordance with records from the Roman era, has a history of 2000 years. The Hévíz treatment, in its present sense, also dates back more than 200 years.The 4.4 ha lake is fed by its spring rushing up at a depth of 38 m, containing sulphur, radium and minerals. Due to the high water output of the spring, the water of the lake is completely changed within 48 hours. The water of the Hévíz Lake is equally rich in dissolved substances and gases, combining the favourable effects of naturally carbonated medicinal waters and those containing sulphur, calcium, magnesium, hydrogen-carbonate, as well as those with a slightly radioactive content. The medicinal mud, which covers the bed of the lake in a thick layer, deserves special attention. The Hévíz mud, which is unique of its kind, contains both organic and inorganic substances and the radium-salts and reduced sulphuric solutions in it represent special medicinal factors. The medicinal water and mud originating from the several then thousand year-old Pannonian Sea, together with the complex physiotherapeutic treatments, are suitable for treating all kinds of rheumatic and locomotory diseases.The temperature of the water is 23-25 C in winter and 33-36 C in summer.

I wasn't really sure if the water had +31 C as the lady said, but anyway. The lake is not that small and we spent there 3 hours - did swim all around the lake with some stops....

In Slovenia we have lots of SPA resorts as well, but that was still special experiance :)

After those few hours swimming, we sat in the car and drove 50 more kilometers to East of the lake to visit TIHANY - picture above and all to follow :)

Here is was VERY crowded. The place is rather small, but very lovely. You can see traditional houses there, there are many shops with all kinds of things (bellow you can see the house where all over they have PAPRIKA) and not to forget; the view from the hill is GREAT!

We spent about 2 hours there and than slowly went back home. We stopped for dinner and made a short walk though the city and than went to bed. The next day way an early morning, since we were off to Budapest.

Balaton Lake - Hungary - part 1

Here I am with first part of news from my short holidays in Hungary.

The first idea was to go to the seaside with Miha over the holidays, but than his mum went with her sister :s I was a bit sad at the beginning, but than Miha and I decided not to stay at home and find something somewhere for few days that won't be too expensive, so I got an idea! It's rather close in compare of all destinations we had in mind and none of us has ever been there!

Hungary - more specific - Balaton Lake! Miha was happy with idea, so I went to Internet and find a cheap pension by the lake called Lorelei Pension - just 5 minutes walk from the beach :)

We browsed for few more ideas what to see there and where to go and we were ready to go.

We had in Slovenia 27th April off coz' of the Bank holiday and I got free day at work on 30th as well. We though to go maybe on Friday or Saturday, but than Miha got another flight pop-in for Sunday morning, so we had to postpone the traveling to Sunday afternoon.

We left Ljubljana on Sunday 29th around 1.30pm. The drive was lovely and not that tiring. When we crossed the border we changed the euros to Forints and than drove on. In compare with Slovenia, the road signs in Hungary are GREAT! You can easily travel without having a map on your legs! It's really easy and really all very well marked, so, all the way Miha was able to sleep and I figurned all out by myself! :)

We arrived to the Pension at 6pm, unpacked and than went for a two hour walk, just to check where is what! :)

How beautiful it was that evening, you can see from the photos!

We had an early night and than the other day an early morning as well. We simply wanted to use our days as much as possible.

On 30th April we woke up at 8am, had breakfast and than went to city of GYENESDIÁS. There we rent bikes and decided to cycle around. We made by the end of the day around 40 km. We went to KESZTHELY where we stopped at Turists info centre and got some very useful info, than we went on to HÉVÍZ where are spa and also visited a tower (picture above) there to which top I didn't go :s I'm sure you all know I'm afraid of height, so I managed only to get to 3/4 of it and Miha went to the top!

We went than back to Gyenesdiás and from there to VONYARCVASHEGY and all to BALATONGYÖRÖK. We walked around a little and than drove back. Miha wanted us to eat back in the city of Keszthely, so we went back again, had dinner in Pub and than returned to Gyenesdias. We had to return the bikes at 8pm - we did a bit later being fairly tired. We than had about 15 more minutes of walk to return to pension, took a shower and went to bed.

The first day ended well :)

Zombi

Here I am - ZOMBI! That's me! I am tired and sleepy, plus sadly at work.

Today around 2am Miha and I came from few days holidays. :) The longer update with photos will follow, problably over the weekend, since I'm not sure I'll either have time to do it earlier or the will; my main thing today and tomorrow is to get some rest! We had, thankfully, very active holidays, travel around a lot, seen many things (as many as possible in 3 days) and now it's time to gather all the great memories together and need some rest!

Sadly I had to go to work today, after only very short hours of sleep that were like minutes :( I had the feeling that I closed eyes for a minute and the clock already rang that's time to wake up and go to work :(

Thankfully it's almost 10am now and only one co-worker is here, so it's peaceful and I can relax and close my eyes for some time :s
It's really hard to keep my eyes open! I hope during the day it's about to be better :)

This is just short post to say HI after some time being away from blog (though I doubt any really missed me here) and I'll be BACK :) with stories and photos.... :)

WHY this is happeneing to me - EVERYTIME when holidays are approaching?
Maybe you have an idea what has happened?

Well, if you answer is that we're NOT going to the seaside, you're right!! ;(
Today the day was already full of dissapointments and now this? You know I'm always looking forward to the moments when we're going to the seaside and this time (we were supposed to go on Sunday) I was even more looking forward, coz' since Miha has work, ALL is up side down and he rarely has day offs when I have. And so, I was looking forward to spend some quality time with him OUT from Ljubljana, coz' I love to change the place!

Why we're not going?
Miha's aunt and Miha's mum wanted to go tomorrow, but than the aunt's computer broke down and his son will fix it tomorrow and she wants to be next to him when he'll do it - why? I don't understand!
So, instead of going tomorrow they'll go on Saturday in the morning and of course they won't come back on Sunday as planned, but will probably stay till Tuesday evening. We planned to go on Sunday in the evening till Wednesday evening, but I don't want to go only for one night - it's too much work for nothing! :(
They however told us we can go with them, but what's the point??? There won't be any privacy and I'm not into that! I love to wake up whenever I want and stay in PJ as long as I want, eat what I want etc. They always wake up EARLY and the place is small, so they would easily wake us up...than if they want breakfast, they would need to enter in the room where we would be sleeping, so...it's all messed up and the end of the story is that WE ARE NOT GOING!

I still might stay over those days at Miha's place, but it's not the same! I'm sad and dissapointed!

100's

This is my 100's post :) Hmmm, to be honest, I never though I'll somehow manage to climb to this number, since I had some lack of time to update my blog in past months, but slowly I'm moving on! :) I'm still very happy and greatful to a friend of mine who introduced me to Blogging :) I feel like blog has become my friend when I need to express my happy things and when I'm sad to make me feel at least a little better!

I hope soon I'll be able to greet you at my 200's entery! :) Thank you for reading my blog so far and I hope you won't stop :)

Today is last working day :) I'm so very happy to have next 5 days to rest, relax, perhaps swim in the sea and to do things I hardly find time for it during the week :)

Yesterday in the afternoon Miha and I went to visit our friend Boštjan who had birthday. We had lunch together and talked a lot. I was very sleepy and around 8.30pm was nearly sleeping behind the table! I know it's not really nice to almost fallen asleep, but god I was tired! We than went home at 9pm and as soon as I came home, only took a shower, washed my teeth and went to bed. I was so tired that I even didn't read the letter I got, but I think I have fallen asleep in the same second I lied in the bed!
Now, today I woke up much easily than yesterday and am even feeling better :) I also hope during the free days to get some more sleep :)

Today after work I'll go home to have lunch with Miha and than will clean my apartment. It's already a huge mess :s
Miha will go home after lunch, coz' he has flight from 10pm to 8am tomorrow going to Istanbul, Turkey. I will watch TV in the evening and probably will go earlier to bed in hope I'll be able to sleep late tomorrow.
Usually it's so that when I'm at home, like I'll be in coming days, having holidays, I can't sleep! Do you have the same problem to??
Even during the weekends, I always wake up without alarm clock at the time like I'd like to go to work - and I don't, belive me! :( The worse part is that I can't fall asleep back and so am in bed for few more minutes that are feeling like hours and than around 7am or 7.30am I wake up!!! NO!!! I want to sleep when I could be able!

And one more question for you out there.
What's your opinion about marriage?? Is there any sense for you for two people to get married? I'd really like to know some opinions and point of views! WHY?
Yesterday at the dinner we talked about it (briefly) and I was negativly surprised - from WHOM? You can only guess. Yes, from Miha!
I don't know what to think...yesterday he said that getting married is the MOST stupid thing that people "invented". He said if two people love each other, that paper & ring doesn't mean anything and only costs you a fortune to get married!
OK; I partly agree that a paper and a ring won't change much or anything, but why nowadays guys only think about the money? What's the catch? Is there any at all?
I mean, who said that girls only want huge party with expensive dress and huge diamond rings?? I DO NOT! Honestly, I'd be more than HAPPY to get married with love of my life and to have only the CLOSEST friends and family besides me! The dress would be casual, so I could wear it to some more fancy parties or something like this.
I mean, I think you can get married very nicely for not millions to spend!
But am looking forward to read your point of view!

I'm now wondering how it is at the other parties?

Yesterday we were at the pilot party and how did it look like? There were many pilots and even more stevardeses and ALL of them spoke about flying, planes and one more time flying! Hmmm...not that interesting for someone like me, but OK, was lovely to be honest. I saw many of them whom I haven't seen for quite a while. :)

If you are EVER interested WHERE do ALL the cosmetics goes, I have the answer: ONTO stevardeses!!!
I must admit that I have NEVER in my life seen so many gilrs (that are not really pretty) with SO MUCH (way toooo much) make up on their faces! :( It's terrible. All or most of them are blonds, but in their faces are almost black, so much make up they have on!!! They act like little kids, thinking how HIGH they are and they are nothing else but empty, childish ladies!
Miha was all shocked when he saw them - he said he never though they could be so "ugly" and so stupid! When they opened their mount....we''l not worth to mention!

All in all, it was nice. We stayed till half past midnight and than went home.

The "problem" I'm into now is the thing that I don't feel like I'd belong in this kind group of people! :s
They are pilots with quite lots of money who are interested in everything for which I'm not - like golf and sailing and I also have not much to talk with them, coz' don't know much about either planes and flying and than on the other side there are bunch of gilrs who think are something more than us, "regular" girls and so we're not being excepted :(
I can't even say that I'm pretty, so...I don't fit in!
I guess I'll need to lose SOME weight, become blonde and put tonz of puder on!!
