Hmmm....if you are historian film fan, than you were probably looking forward to the film "300". As I did! I've seen some reviews before and read many good things about it. Miha and I decided to go and see it. The story is great; the battle between Spartans and Persians, but what they did was disaster - well, from my point of view! I think this was the worst historian movie I have ever seen! :(
Maybe I got a little spoiled with Gladiator which is in my opinion the BEST film ever, but anyway, I expected much more! What I don't like is the fact that in films like this (it was the same thing in "Troy") they are using weird creatures and huge sized people - it seemed like they would take some charectars from Lord of the Rings :s
HELLO??? Back than there were not people like that?? OK, "Inmortals" yes, coz' they were sort of special force of army, but other huge people - come on!!! Who are we kidding??
I also found the colours of pictures to be very bad - I don't know, maybe our cinema had bad copy of it, but it wasn't good. And there were some tricks which were "funny" as well...for example...when they were attacked and the spears hooked into their ropes - many spears - but than all had no problem to stand up?!? All ropes were not damaged!! Those kind of small thing that they could "solve" somehow else!
Plus what they did - some parts, esp. at the end were took from Gladiator!! Why? Do they think that coz' of that the film will be as successful as the Gladiator was?? NO; the film sucks!!!

The only good thing (not worth money) was the music.
At the end I was VERY dissapointed! It was really not worth all the money I paid for tickets! I'd much prefer to see Mr. Bean's Holiday if I'd know how bad the film is!
But there are millions of people with millions of tastes! If you have seen it, I'm really curious what do you think about it!

Apart from that; my Easter holidays were lovely.
Miha is finally back and we can yet again enjoy the time together. It's so nice to see and hear how much he missed me while he was gone :)

We spent some time at his family, visited my grandparents, spent some time with a friend (went for a long walk with him) and spent some time alone in front of TV enjoying in each others company.
He brought me some candles from England in flavour of Strawberries and Chocolate :) and I got one Teddy Bear wearing cardigan with sign England on :) It is such a cute Teddy :)

Today it's sadly another working day, but there are some pozitive things. We'll see each other for lunch :), the week will have only 4 working days and on Friday after work we'll go to the seaside till Sunday evening :D
Miha probably won't fly for next 14 days, coz' he's waiting for his licence, so we can use the days as much as possible. :) The weather forecast is GREAT with lots of sun and temp. up to +25 C, so I think we'll have a great away weekend! Why today is not Friday???

What is new here is also that we're thinking to turn my room into bed-room :) Meaning to buy new furniture and new, bigger bed - for two :) I need to make a plan of my room and than we'll go around to see the furniture :) Maybe that's a step closer that we could move in together. Miha also told me that for his 1st paycheck he'll buy us new TV :) My TV is about 15 years old and working very poorly :s It needs about 15 minutes to warm up before you can see the picture! :s
I however won't push on him with the moving in thing, since I said, maybe all this sponatanius thing about bed-room will lead to the subject itself :) Esp. coz' he was the one who suggested to buy new bed and to redecorate the room a bit - so he'll be able to sleep over here and there at my place :) Hurray! OK, I can't get too happy about it, so that I won't be too dissapointed at the end if something comes in between, but it's nice :) Makes me happy!

And as I told before: I liked 300... I guess that the weird colors you have experienced... well they are not weird, but they are the real colors of this movies, this some kind of yellow-like one. I think it came from the comics itself... anyways I really liked the movie, sorry that you didn't...
