London - part 1

I yet again already wrote long post about London, but than something went wrong and all just vanished :( Since I have not much time left before going to University and take that exam, I shall start the story again and will go on with it tomorrow.

In July 1997 it was my first time in London. That year I visited the capital 3 more times and each time I was very impressed by it. I don't know what is so magic about the place, but I simply love it. I saw many European capitals and loved each (except Paris which I didn't find anything special - I know...you might think what on Earth is wrong with me, not to like the "most" romantic place on Earth??? Well, I don't fancy it) of them, but London has something (not the bad weather though:P) that attracts me even more.

I was VERY happy to be back and even happier to be back with Miha.

We took a train from Gatwick ariport to Victoria station. One day return cheap (??) ticket for both was 31 Pounds! Do the Math...that's 47 Euros! I don't know what do you think, but for me, that's expensive for not even 30 minutes drive. For this kind of money I would come to Budapest or to Vienna...and even to Venice.
But, OK; everything in UK is expensive..however, it was worth.

From 1997 to 2007 I could easily say that not many things changed. :) The new things are Millenium Eye (first two photos) and Millenium bridge (the last photo).
I took quite some many photos of Millenium Eye - I was very impressed by, though can't really say what impressed me...maybe was the fact that this is VERY huge thing?!?! Don't know. I just know that it would be a shame if they will demolish it - a guy there told us that they were thinking to do so - let's hope not.
We haven't took a drive, coz' the line was long (very long) and thing is rather slow + the weather was not that nice and I'm sure people who went up, couldn't see many things around. I'm sure if it would be sunny, I'd go as well :)

Around London we walked! We did more than 15 km all day long and when we came to the train we were very tired. We saw many attrections of London such as Buckingham Palace (saw the exchange of guard), went though the St. James Park (my fave park in London). In this park you can see many squerls walking around freely :)
Than we see the Big Ben, Millenium Things, Sheakespeares Theatre, Wesminster Abby, Wesminster Bridge, Tower or London, Tower Bridge and many more things.

I shall post more photos of London and Brighton with more stories, but now got to go...till later! Greetz!
