Seaside weekend

Hello!

Here I am with another enter. I have some time now at work. Wife of the boss when to Austria today, shopping ? and luckily my boss has meeting now. So far I'm doing fine and don't have that many things to do - I've been a good girl and did all so far. I tried to study, but everytime I brought the book out of my backpack someone came with work :s So, maybe I'll be luckier to finish this enter without being disturbed :)

My weekend at the seaside was VERY NICE!
We went on Friday after my work. Well, I had to do some grocery shopping, went home, quickly pack and than around 6pm we went.
As soon as we came to Ankaran and unpacked, I start making the dinner. We spent the evening in front of TV relaxing :) Felt GOOD! :)

Saturday in the morning, after breakfast Miha was reading some of his material while I was watching TV for short. I than made us lunch and around 2.30pm we went to Stara Gorica - a town 2 km from Slovenian boarder - in Italy. My mum told us that's good to shop there, so we went for a look - none of us have ever been there.
To be honest, yes, many shops on main avenue, but most of the things are either the same price as here or more expensive, so we didn't buy anything special. We only bought 3 small things for Christmas presents - that was it! But we had a nice walk - the town is nice :)
After the "shopping" we went to Nova Gorica - Slovenia - where we had a walk and than stopped on warm snack. As you may know we went there for a concert of Croatian singer Gibonni. So, after our snack we went to the place where the concert was held. It was soooo lovely, coz' the place is rather small. There were about 1500-1800 people and it felt very like home :)
He started on time and was playing without any brake for nearly 3 hours. :)) I LOVED IT!!! I can't tell you HOW MUCH I did enjoy in the concert; actually we both enjoyed the concert a lot! It was really worth going!!!!!!
The concert was over at 10.55pm. We left the town about 15 minutes later and came to Ankrana at half past one in the morning.
We went to bed and slept till 9.30am on Sunday.

After late breakfast we went to Koper - 7km from Ankaran. We did some grocery shopping for lunch and I bought few more things I needed for myself. When the shopping was over, we took a walk to city centre and back. That took about 3 hours - we also sat for about half an hour by the sea. It was lovely, though the weather was really bad - all weekend was cloudy, a bit windy and not that cold...however, not really nice weather after all. :s

When we came home I did lunch and we watched basketball on TV. Later we had to clean the apartment a little, pack and than around 7pm we slowly went home. :( We came home 2 hours later :( Normally we need 45-60 minutes, but the fog was terrible - we couldn't see 10 meters ahead, so we had to drive very carefully.

I came home, unpacked, went to say hello to my paretns and than took a shower and went to bed. Sadly I had to wake up early yesterday and go to work.

Yesterday was busy day at work...and as usually I was most of the time alone in the office. The bosses wife is hardly ever here :s I'm just wondering how it's going to be when I'll be in Mexico??? Who will do all the work I am doing now??? I seriously hope that there won't be tonz of papers when I'll come back :(( That would be a real nightmare!!!!

Anyway, yesterday Miha and I bought the Mini DV camera JVC GDR-325 :D I am very happy about it and I can't wait to use it, though that probably won't happy before Mexico trip! :s Will see. There are few more small things that need to be bought before, like cassets, some wires and bag to store the camera. But that's not such an expense and I am hoping Santa might help me and maybe he'll bring me something of that ;)

The rest of the afternoon yesterday I spent studying and wrapping the Christmas presents. Many are ready, but there are sadly quite some still missing, though I said to myself that I should buy all of the presents before December starts, but it's looking really poorly :s

Now, today after work I'll go to the bank and than to Miha for lunch. Later I might meet with my friend Helen for drink and than will go streight home studying.

Uffff...so I managed to drop some lines and now I will return to work. I hope next time you won't need to wait for that long on my next update. :) Will do my best....

Hey... I'm glad you have a great weekend and that you loved the concert.

I spent my weekend at the United States, I went with my mom to shop some christmas presents and new clothes for me.. since next December 18th I will start a new job and I would have to go dressed more formal than here.

I wish you have a great week... I have to get this program done before leaving on December 8th.. take care.

HEY :) Many CONGRATS for being hired at new work :)) I'm happy for you and I hope it's going to be better than it is here!!!! GREAT!
I have just come home (10.30pm) from working day & meeting with my friend, so will be short now, coz' need to go studying for an hour or two before going to bed :s

HI! Hope this finds you in good moods today.
I really enjoyed reading about the great weekend and it was such a welcome break for you.
Some days are just needed to just relax without doing nothing and others are more hectic so sounds like you had a piece of both.
Concerts always leave a trace in the memory and one goes there over and over again in the mind LOL
Congratulations on the great purchase of camera :)It will be so mnay wonderful times you can "save and store" through the camera :)
Another day is about to start so I better do some of my duties :)

Always great to read and to cheer me up...after I'm having such a hard and stressful days :(
I also wrote you an e-mail :) and there I have explained all the good and bad things that have happened lately.
And the update of my blog will be made sometimes soon - when the "huricane" goes away!

Finally I am here too... I am glad for that fine concert. after all you have been through before it,it was highly deserved, don't you think so? It is rare for a singer to have such a long concert, I mean Bryan's more than 2 hours was the longest concert I have ever attende in my life.. and that is les long than yours. So big wow to Gibonni:)

Yeah, I also have never been to a concert that would last more than 2 hours, so it was a surprise for me as well...and even those 3 hours passed way too quickly :P I would love to listen for few more hours...and don't know if I mention in my blog...but he has a great voice in real :) It still warms my heart when I think about the concert :)
If it was well deserved? Well...I have had tiring days and the relaxing weekend and some entertainment were more than welcome!! Now some hard, long, tiring days are ahead of me, but than Mexico trip comes where I'll ENJOY for past and coming days :D
